Evening everyone, i had the most weird thing happen to me this morning, i woke up with clots and blood in my mouth??? Scared me a bit and sort of knocked me down, but DD1 looked it up and said it could be breathing dry air in my throat??
KAYANDY how are you? hope you are well, it was me who said about my DD2s friend with the cancer in his leg, i remember you talking about your MIL but i didnt realise it was cancer, what a brave lady and i am glad she is doing so well, thankyou for that

Feisty sounds like a good weekend all round :) at last! Loving your nails too. DD gave me a manicure yesterday after my row and did my nails with the shellac, using the tips Pinknfluffy so kindly gave us. Today I've decorated a cake - usually really harsh on my nails but no the shellac is still perfect. I'm delighted :) But think I may well be about to start a new addiction ha not looking at the Konad I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted, I will not be tempted......
Pinksteps be thinking of your DS tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed for good positive news. xxx
Msgigglewick you are such a talented soul :) I remember seeing a lot of gingerbread decorations last year too.
Trendy hiya my lovely, babysteps :) well done you for even bobbing your head in xxx
Freespirit I'm so glad you said that, I actually felt like a fish wife! Thank you so much, it was so reassuring to read :) and Feisty I've been really down all day because of the upset. Even felt I'd let DH down :( I've had loads of support and tomorrow I will pull myself together! Not even got dressed, still tomorrow is another day. DGD2 usually has a sleepover tonight ready for play group in the morning but DD is bringing her for breakfast so I will get some sleep (hopefully) xxx

Nana I hope you managed to get some sleep and that you are feeling more positive today xxx

freespirit I bet you're counting the days until your DS comes home :)

Had to open a new ebay account to try and sell some of my handmade things (still umming and ahhing if ebay is the right kind of venue) and because I hadn't used my account they sent me a £5 voucher to use on anything (accept p&p) with no minimum spend! I now have 10 imitation konad stamps coming my way - I only had to pay 34p towards them :)

    Morning,
Love your nails Fiesty, very clever. I can't even paint on a plain colour without it all over the sides. X

Sounds lovely moving back in with your mum Pinksteps. Will be good company, but space when you need it x

Sorry Nanamia I lol'd a little at you getting your bikini wax. I'm like you and kind of forget to these things. I've never braved a bikini wax, my eyebrows now and again is my limit. Well done to your daughter x

Life is busy just now. It's DS birthday on the 30th of June, he is saying he would like a party. I was thinking of doing one in the community centre. But the schools break up on the 28th of June, so I'm worried everyone would be away on holiday by the 30th and no one will come. Feel bad as he has never had a party.

    Morning all!

Thanks for advice on the tins. Sorry can't remember who said what to thank them or multi quote but: they do have patterns on them, some snowflakes, some gingerbread men (these are my favourite so will probably keep as gifts, and the majority are a gold, red and green desing with Christmas trees, stars and swirls. I have most of these.

They are the pefect size for truffles as someone said, but I don't do home baked goods on my stall. May do some for myself as gifts though.

Suggestion of candles is a good one - I could buy in bulk then split up. The tins themself I think were 29p so I can afford to put a pound or so value items in them, as I like to keep prices low so would sell for £3, which hopefully people would like as a small teacher gift etc.

Hugs to all of you who need it xx

Hello all. Been a b*gger of a few weeks, nothing major wrong but you know when you just have one of those spells where nothing seems easy or straight forward!? Normally it's only in one part of my life but it's in every area - family, health, work etc etc. As I say, nothing I should grumble about too much but looking forward to a day without some kind of worry or drama! Trying to remain 'glass half full', but everyone close to me seems to be going through such stress, feel like my 'cheer-leading' is probably just getting annoying!

Anyway, going to catch up tonight hopefully but just popping on to say that anyone who likes Marie Claire (or fancies it as a gift subscription for someone else) can currently get 12 issues for £12 at Magazines Direct and Topcashback are offering £5.25 cashback so ends up being about 55p an issue, they have some good freebies throughout the year so it's not a bad deal!
