Hoya everyone I've not been on for a few months very thing has been kinda up in the air but all seems to have calmed now. I've cought up on the last 10 pages or so bit haven't even tried to go beyond that you guys can talk

hope you are all okay x
Also can't remember who posted as was reading it at about 2am but someone said that their daughters friend has a rare cancer in his leg?? This is what my mil had last year when she had her leg off and she is doing increabily well she's 54 and didn't have any chemo or anything just the op and is fine she had her check up for her leg and lung last week and the doctor said with her having too agressive forms of cancer at her age and her smoking they didn't think she would make it but here she is still and not a trace of it coming back (touch wood) (she had her lung op in June and leg in sept) so I'm positive your daughters friend will be okayxx

Mrsinvisible happy holidays
It's finally here, have the very best time with your family and share your joy with us when you get back
I will still be reading and posting when I can from Oz (Internet is rubbish)
Gettingtherequickly I was blooming worn out reading your list never mind doing it- all this over exertion is not good for me ha x
Rebel you are so right, it's almost summer hols, when the schools go back in September next stop Christmas woo hoo.
Trendy you ok? How has your weekend been?
Feisty hope your hair has settledhow was the car boot? Did DH manage ok without you. xxx
Twinkle welcomesounds like you are going to fit in just fine, I look forward to getting to know you and share in the festive excitement x
Kayandy good to see you we've missed you. How is your DBF and your little brother? Glad to hear your MiL is doing so well, that's truly amazing isn't itxxx
Freespirit I bet you are done by my return (8th August) then I can post my lists of people and you can point me in the right directionMy friend/neighbour was ok today if still a little shocked, the bloke in question has done the walk of shame and apologised etc but for me he can apologise till he's blue in the face he showed a side I'd never seen before, hopefully won't see again! Then few hours later didn't I get into a row with a different and notoriously arguementative neighbour- I tried really hard not to get involved but she wouldn't leave it kept on and on then typical me I said way more than I should and am cross with myself:( argh I am really annoyed with myself:( despite reassurances from witnesses that I didn't let myself down I really felt that I had. Still tomorrow is another day, lets hope I can stay out of trouble
xxx
Thankfully DGD2 wasn't witness to any of the bother, that may have been the final straw. xxxThe secret of Christmas

Kayandy that is really re-assuring
MrsInvisible I hope you have a wonderful time
Nana there is only so much any sane person can take before reacting - I think you have probably done a lot better than most would in your position, don't let it get you down so much x
My hair was initially a lot lighter, but now seems to be reverting back to it's dyed shade as the days go byI'm really annoyed because the company states this will only happen if you skimp the rinsing time and I actually doubled the recommended amount! It's now only one shade lighter than I started - plan to do one more box at the weekend and then possibly complain to Superdrug if no joy.
DH is very, very slowly improvingWe managed to visit his parents Saturday and although he spent a lot of the visit asleep, it has improved his spirits no end
Car boot was wonderful - I managed to get a few bits for the craft fair for a lot under budget - only have about £8.00 left for materials which is a bit worrying, but I'll cope! After the first two fairs that I did, I have decided to only spend £30 on stall fees and set up for this one
PS a little peek for anyone interested to see my progressing nail skills2024 Challenges

msgigglewick I love him! I have a bit of an obsession for gingerbread men, but they are reserved for Christmas only - my tree is growing quite the selection! In-fact I have a similar little chap here that my lovely friend crocheted for me a few years ago2024 Challenges
