Poppygirl if they are the tins I'm thinking of, I was going to do truffles or fudge in them (obviously I'm so blooming lazy I did nothing at all with them so am watching the replies for inspiration :)
Trendy I'm so very proud of you, I'm hoping you are proud of yourself too :) Getting to the gym was an achievement in its self then managing the rest too. Well done you :) xxx
Pinksteps what an exciting time for you all, it seems to be a win win situation. I'm so pleased for you all. How is DS? I'm desperate for news that he's dancing again xxx Christmas will be different and the first without your Darling Dad, but you will be together and helping each other move forward xxx (your dad must be so proud of you all)
Gettingtherequickly the lip gloss sounds so cute, I want one, no I neeeeed one :)
Mrsinvisible I'm delighted with DDs news, how wonderful to hear before your hols, what a huge relief, woo hoo. No need to think about it now for another three years :) They cause such stresses I know:(
I'm so excited for you, two sleeps, which airport are you flying from? Don't the last days of the countdown drag? I want to go nowwwww! Did you Skype this morning? I bet they are all so excited to see you too:) xxx
Freespirit hugs to your DD, so annoying something perfect must be just waiting for her, she just doesn't know it yet :) You are doing so well with your Christmas stash - when I come back from Oz I think I will post my list and as you'll be almost done then you can sort me out too :)

I'm driving myself a bit mad at the moment or madder I should say, serious cantbearseditus - it's near to our trip but not near enough for me to get a move on. Need motivation, but can't find it.

Had a great day today with friends in neighbours just in our gardens, unplanned fun with DD and DGD2 :) until the end of the evening when one neighbour who'd been drinking all day got silly (quite unpleasant - if I'm honest) I'd already started packing away cos he was getting on my nerves then he just turned on one of the ladys not nice at all:( some men just don't know when they've had enough!

Oh my goodness. Mrsinvisible and nana I can't believe it is so close! Where on earth has the time gone? - great news about dd mrsinvisible, they really do like to cause stress don't they! Nana sorry to hear about your stressful and unpleasant end to the evening :(

Well in true MSE style I tried to do a DIY hair dye stripping. The results aren't exactly awful BUT my hair now has major copper (refuse to call it ginger) tones to it and it has only lightened a bit - worse of all is the slight aroma of sulphur it's been left with :( well am off to a car boot sale with my parents (first outing with them this year) so am hoping DH copes while I'm away for a few hours!

  • Had a phone call from my aunt this morning, she is going to China on Sunday for 3 mths helping to set up a school to teach littlies English and she wants to borrow a suitcase, as get this, she has a 2 23kg case allowance. My brain went into overdrive, well, it would be a shame for my case to come back empty, wouldn't it? :D

Busy morning, cleaned my windows, done washing, shopping and baked 2 cakes, now go to do the rest of the housework :(
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Yes, we are nearly half way there. If the 2nd half goes as quick as the first it'll be Christmas real soon!
