Anyway, going to catch up tonight hopefully but just popping on to say that anyone who likes Marie Claire (or fancies it as a gift subscription for someone else) can currently get 12 issues for £12 at Magazines Direct and Topcashback are offering £5.25 cashback so ends up being about 55p an issue, they have some good freebies throughout the year so it's not a bad deal!
Could only see the mag for £14.99, but as you can now change tcb into Tesco points (which can then be used at x4 their value on days out) you could really get the magazines for free ( well actually you make £6)0 -
Evening everyone, hope everyone is ok, hugs to those that could do with one :grouphug:

DH has been taken back into hospital with pneumonia. Seeing as I've spent the last week and a bit (since I went back to work) thundering around and complaining about how stressed I am, I now feel like a really crap wife[/COLOR]2024 Challenges
Live in the moment more and appreciate the small things0 -
Feisty you not a crap wife x you've had alot to deal with and can't possibly spot everything else going on x your dh will be ok x0

oh feisty.. you're not a crap wife.. you're no doctor either.... if he really felt that bad then he should have got to the dr's or the people who were caring for him. im sure they'll get on top of it is.. have a big hug!
i may have bought another elf this morning shhhh its the christina pop in kins one.. that goes along side the christopher pop in kins.. think they are lovely and both will sit on my window sill and i'll make them do silly dance moves all december lol
Nearly finished my first girl elf.. its taking its time because dd4 keeps asking for me to knit other things and people keep having babies (how inconsiderate lol) going to make two different kinds i think. then decide which i like best.

Hi all, I went to Amsterdam over the weekend and didn't get a chance to post before I went so sorry in advance for the looooong post!!
CHRISSYG - congrats on the move into the bungalow, I really hope you are settling in well.
OMO - I really hope your DS gets on well working at the railway, have you done the practice run yet? Good for you leaving your job, it takes a lot of courage and you have to do what's right for you at the end of the day.
Trendyjenny bless your OH, Christmas bingo sounds fab!! Like Feisty says don't get disheartened about the episode at the gym - so many people don't even make it to the gym! It sounds like you had a lovely weekend.
Pinksteps it sounds like a good practical arrangement with your mum and it will be nice to all be together but with your own space. And what with someone really wanting your house for their own needs it seems like it was meant to be! I hope physio went well for your DS.
Freespirit i'm so sorry to hear about your DD not getting the promotion, it is such an awful catch-22 situation when they say you haven't got enough experience but then you can't actually get any! I hope something turns up for her soon. Blood in your mouth when you wake up doesn't sound good, do you think it's worth getting it checked out?
Rebel Hedgehog thanks for the Christmas countdown update - how exciting! I got my first Christmas party brochure through the post at work today so it must be nearly here!
Nanamia there's always one to ruin a good day! I bet he felt really bad the next day, he's going to have to do a lot of grovelling! And don't worry about the argument you had with your neighbour, i'm sure you didn't corss the line and say something you didn't need to, these things just happen when you're pushed to a certain point. But I do understand that quite often we wish we hadn't had an outburst.
Hello MrsCullen and have a fab time on holiday!
Hi Kayandy :wave:good to hear from you!
Feisty YOU ARE NOT A BAD WIFE! It is not your fault that your OH has got pneumonia and you are allowed to moan when you are under such stress. We women have a very bad tendancy to feel guilty about things that are out of our control. You are doing absolutely amazing in the face of all of this so you musn't punish yourself, we are all here for you. :grouphug: I really hope your OH recovers soon, keep us updated. x
mrsgigglewick I can't see your pic as i'm at work but looking forward to seeing what it is later when I get home!
Caitlyn - things always seem to happen that way, everything kind of goes wrong at the same time! I hope things get a little better from now on. Thanks for the Marie Claire heads up, I already subscribe to 4 magazines so probably shouldn't take on another one! :rotfl:
Hello *Twinkle* Good to have you here!

Evening everyone, well i certainly have CBA this week and its getting on my nerves, i have hardly done any housework, i dont know what it is but i just have no energy or inclination to do anything except stay in bed or play bloody silly games on my phone, although saying that i CS a load of books off my bedroom shelf this afternoon, i always feel better after a good clearout and some of them have sat there for years, so now i have a kindle i am hardly going to read them now, a couple of them i have seen the film so i definitely know i wont read them! The weather doesnt help either its been cold and rainy here today
FEISTY please dont think you are a crap wife, you werent to know, you have done nothing but be there for DH, and he knows that too, hope he recovers soon, sending big hugs to you my lovely x
