  • OMO, what a cutie!

Feisty, glad hubs is a little better, although they can be stubborn at times, just got to accept that we each know our body better than anyone else, so if he feels that way, and home is where he feels even better, well.....

Got to go shopping at lunch time, going to the swearing chefs restaurant for dinner this evening and I have lost so much weight, I need to buy new trousers for it! Bit hacked off at the booking, no one checked with me and I had booked to see Helen Mirren in The Audience, ok it was only NT beaming into local cinema, but I wanted to see it.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Forgot to mention, I have a new job. My landlord phoned me and asked if I had any free hours for his Mum.
Am meeting him on Monday to work out what she needs.

  • OMO congrats on getting a new job! How handy. I went to see Wicked last year and it is great! You won't be disappointed. I am so sorry to say this and also a little embarassed - but who is Robbie? I'm so sorry I must have missed somewhere who he is! There were a couple of times that I got so behind with the thread that I couldn't catch up, and I might have missed it then? :o He is super cute though! :)

Ameyturtle Hello! So sorry to hear the interview didn't go well, how very frustrating for you when someone else disrupts things. I know it doesn't feel like it now but perhaps it happened for a reason? I like to think that. Sorry to hear you're suffering, I do hope they can sort something out for you soon, and do use your eyedrops - from what everyone else says they should help.

Nanamia you must be so excited about your trip to Oz! Aren't things like Face Time a God send nowadays?! It's so great to be able to see people and interact even when they're miles away. Me and OH often use Skype when he's on business trips.

Feisty bless your stubborn husband! He must be quite fed up and it must be hard to rest in hospital. You're doing a grand job and all you can do is be there for him. Amsterdam was mostly lovely thanks, but even without trying we ended up in the 'naughty' area! We were just having an innocent stroll buy the canals! :rotfl: There were also some interesting smells wafting around! But we did enjoy it and there are some lovely parts.

Welcome rjh - it completely depends on the recipe. Some will tell you to place in cool dark cupboard and let mature for x months - others will only keep for a limited time. Sorry it's not a specific answer! Generally anything high in sugar, oil, or vinegar is well preserved so will keep for ages BUT you need to make sure jars are sterile and air removed before sealing - if not your poor recipients will open their jars to a moldy surface!

Speaking of jams and chutneys, sainsburys have 25% off official Kilmer jars - if I wasn't trying to be so thrifty I'd buy the lot ;)

Pinknfluffy (I think it was you) I have got a body shop almond oil nail and cuticle pen from ebay (£7.99 in store £3.99 on ebay) so hopefully may nails and cuticles will improve - very sore at the moment :(
