Morning all, hugs to everyone.

Well,things have been moving here. Since my dad passed my mum has been looking at her own future. We have decided that she is going to sell the house that i and DS live in and we are going to move in with her. sounds scary but i think it will work. my mum is using some of the money from this house sale to turn her loft into a self contained studio flat for DS and i will live on the first floor whilst she is on the ground. so not in each others pockets but there for each other plus she will have some money by for her twilight years. So, the last couple of weeks i have been packing everything thinking i will soon have estate agents etc round and i mention to my neighbours mum what is happening and she was oh goodness we want your house! her daughter (my neighbour) has ill health and her mum wants to be next to her. plus the family have a building firm so they are going to do a deal with my mum where they will take her building costs from the sale of the house. All scary in a way and who would of thought last christmas just how different this christmas will be ...

Tried gym this morning lastest 10 min before going dizzy x came home sweet tea x collapsed in bed for 3 hours x mum and dad popped round so then rallied bit got to doc for prescription (3 days without tabs) straight and got tablets x organised another doc call for mon x while on a roll phoned union x they gavel couple of helplines to call x I asked them to call back mon to talk about case x got to fax them medical report x had few tearful moments but feel made huge step forward x

Evening everyone, DD1 very down today didnt get the promotion she wanted at work, again they said it was down to experience but how is she going to get supervisory experience if they wont give her a break grrrr, im so gutted for her this is the third time, she works so hard and just wants a bit of recognition
TRENDY wow that sounds fun, christmas in july bingo :xmassmile and you did great making those calls, if you havent taken your tabs for 3 days that might have been the reason for feeling so ill at the gym
POPPYGIRL i know this is probs stupid but it popped into my head for some reason :think: what about marbles??

The lip balm (although it says gloss) has arrived and I am in love:j The lid is like the top of a mince pie and looks unbelievably cute.

Hacked off at mo, have to give a gift to a friends child today and can I find the pack of gift bags to put it in? Can I hell.:mad:

Freespirit, your DD will get the promotion, and the recognition she deserves, but yes understand how it is upsetting, to say the least, not to get this one.
Poppygirl, could you make candles in them? or put incense cones and aromatherapy oils in?
Nanamia, sounds like a girl with a mission, when she gets what she wants and takes over the world will she let us join in?
Well, 2 more sleeps and I'm off, not packed yet but I'm making the right noises about it. Lift to airport is organised and I think I know what I'm taking. Garden and greenhouse are up to date and lovely friend/neighbour is going to look after it all for me.
Great news, DD got put straight into the support group for ESA, so a great weight off for 3 years. Now, off to look for toiletries to put in case, then iron clothes.
