princesskitty29-I only discovered Sam 99p at Christmas as we rarely go into Reading town centre (usually just Home Bargains every few months!) but it is fab!
Thankyou hopefully it will work itself out somehow! You dont sound at all like BrideZilla and the cake is very pretty! x

Isn't it funny to learn you are down the fqamily history line of someone like William the Conquer! I'm sure we must all go back to people like that but it's exciting to find out! I get fascinated by this stuff and then frustrated because I can't go back and see what it was really like, rather than just using my imagination!
I agree we must all go back to Royalty somewhere.
Don't tell anyone but I have over 20,000 people on my tree. 2 of my Nans gt uncles went to America and had over 50 kids between them.:rotfl:
I also get a bit carried away. You'd never guess.I like to add the parents of spouses. But then I check census records and find they have siblings, so add them.:o
I have great fun going it. It is like being a detective. When I found the name of my Mums 4x gt Nan I was so excited. I had been up for nights looking at baptist records from the 1790's. But I just had the feeling she was there somewhere.
I have also been contacted by lots of distant relatives. It is one of the reasons I keep my tree private. If they want to see it they have to contact me. The daughter of my Nans long lost cousin contacted me from Canada, which was lovely.
I am rambling again. I tend to do that when I get on the subject of my tree.Sorry.

Evening,
MADZ2802 Thankyou for the link, brilliant price x
NANAMIA Well after two days of resting, just doing light duties it was starting to feel better, BUT then yesterday we had loads of rain again, and the overflow pipe into the downstairs toilet sink kept flooding the sink, so the last few weeks i have had a bucket there, yesterday was ridiculous i was having to empty it every 10 mins, which killed my back, so my DD2 popped in, i said i am sick and tired of leaks and flooding this year, so she went outside to have a look, now a house of 3 women shouldnt attempt DIY :rotfl::rotfl:our solution...... We sawed the pipe in half outside and wedged it so the water pours onto gravel, cant use the sink now but at least i am not getting flooded floors :T we were in hysterics over it. Hope your DGD2 is feeling a little better tonight, bless her x
MRS INVISIBLE Hope your children get some help, i keep reading some real horror stories about this stupid tax x
AMEYTURTLE Im so sorry about your dog, it is so upsetting isnt it, i must try and get to HB before they sell out x

Princesskitty I love your cake, not messy at all, it's beautiful. I couldn't have done better myself. I hope you are gonna do one for the big day now
I just knew you had no reason to doubt yourself. Well done xxxxx
Moneysavingmumofone oh your poor DS. I hated school primary and secondary ( so much so that my secondary years have been erased from my memory) I so hate the thought of your little man having a tough time:( Take a note book with you, write down key points of what you want to say at the parents evening and take your time. You will be like a lioness defending her cub you will find the strength to do itIf there is anything we can do let us know. xxx
Msgigglewick glad DD is on the road to recoveryChildren just keep on getting more expensive, then along come the grandchildren
But we wouldn't have it any other way. Ask Mrsinvisible you rarely see a rich Nana:) But plenty of happy ones. X
Ameyturtle I'm so sorry to hear about your dogwell done on getting sorted for Easter
Sugarspun 14 weeks alreadyvery exciting times to come
Dom Ravioli sorry to hear you've been having such a tough time. Did you start your Christmas shopping? I just can't seem to get motivated this year. Must try harder!
Mrsinvisible hope you've had a good day and manage to get more sleep tonight. You made me smile (tugs forelock) indeed. But you are right we've got more than our fair share of lovelies on here:)
Linky sounds like you are having such fun with your tree:) I know some members of my family were doing an awful to of research last year and uncovered in my family convicts, criminals ,street fighters etc. sounded a very "interesting" bunch sadly no royalty!!!
Freespirit I had a good chuckle reading about your DIY antics at least you've solved the flooding problemHope that a take it easy day tomorrow will see your back on the mend again. DGD2 was a little better today but a bit grumpy and clingy.
DD moved into her house about 18months ago and before she did I decorated from top to bottom, she was so lucky, they were in a position to buy all new furniture etc and the house is gorgeous, she keeps it like a show home! Anyway being my daughter she loves a list and has had a to-do-list running since she moved in. Touch up here or there, tie back holder fitting etc etc. When we were in Oz she said the list was getting her down so foolishly 10,000 miles away I offered to tackle it with her (interpret -do it all) Last week I (also foolishly) said Wednesday all day I'm at your service! Boy oh boy has she worked me hard! Ha I can't imagine where she gets it from.
1)Put up life quote decal - halfway up the stairs- balancing aarrrghh
2) Paper toilet
3) Paint toilet
4) Paint wall at bottom of stairs
5) Touch up where ladders have been
I'm literally fit for nothing tonight. I wonder if she'll bob round to mine tomorrow and emulsion DGDs room?
Still relaxing day tomorrow I'm making a large cake for DN boyfriends grandparents who are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary
