Nanamia - don't listen to anyone who says you're not a nice person. They obviously don't know you very well. You're a lovely, caring & kind person!
Trendy - well done for completing one hat! You'll get them done in no time
No snow here, just more rain...joy. Really have had enough of this awful weather. Normally I get excited about Easter, doing Easter egg hunts with DD, but not this year. Can't believe it's Easter next weekend....0 -
Trendyjenny-Well done, youve made a great start! :j I would still be procrastinating.
Nanamia-I think sometimes its best for things to stay repressed, I know most people say its not good for you but sometimes I think if I ever had to sit down and talk to anyone about everything thats happened in the past it would break me.
Try and schedule in some time for you, dont want you burning yourself out. xx And you are a very nice person, has somebody said something to make you think otherwise? Because if they have they are talking rubbish! We all love you. xxx
freespirit66-Its so nice to hear that your DS has done so well in college and university. xxx
Hanley-Wow loads of snow, none here yet! Im a bit worried actually as my friend has a similar amount of snow in Derbyshire and we're going up there in 2 weeks and are staying in a rural cottage. The roads are so twisty and hilly there, Id be petrified if I was snowing too. :rotfl:
Well I feel brighter and more positive today. I have written loads of lists the past few days after months of not writing any and I think its made me feel better! I wrote a big christmas list which is looking great, Im determined to get main presents out of the way first this year as every year I tend to buy lots of little presents as I go so everyone has their little presents but I end up having loads of 'main' presents to buy at the last minute with very little money! Ive decided to do quite a few 'Girls night in' baskets and am well on my way with those, going to do my uncle a whisky hamper and BIL a chocolate themed hamper which I thought might be trickier than doing one for a woman (as you could put in body butter, lip balm, candles etc then) but Ive got quite a good list already for that. (will hopefully find a decent priced Lynx chocolate set for it as that will really bulk it out) Also managed to find some golf tees for 25p in Asda today thats something for his stocking too.'They only had one cow!'0 -
Just remembered I still have to get the chocolate from Lidl for my easter chocolate slabs, will have to go on Tuesday. They're going to think Im so greedy buying 15 lol!'They only had one cow!'0

Mtsinvisible you really are the perfect tonic for winter blues - your posts never fail to make me giggle, thank you
Nana how on earth can anyone not think you are nice???
Jenny, well done on the first hat! I too would be procrastinating, really need to make more of an effort on that front!
Hanley I am very jealous of that snow! We have rainwanted to drag DH to the dog park with my girls, but the rain has been constant since he started his holiday on Tuesday.
Moneysaingmumofone yay for lists! I am really impressed with the sounds of your hampers, may have to do one
Well for some bizarre reason my jewelry store has sold more of one ring in the last week then it has in the last six months. I'm genuinely confused as to what is happening. I did think that maybe it had been featured somewhere, but according to the websites that are sending me the traffic it's just google and my blog (where it hasn't been featured) also had a surprise custom order come in, so should have some more money to put in the deposit pot[/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Wow OMO your family tree sounds so detailed! It must have taken you ages to find all that out! 20,000! But I imagine it's a case of when you get stuck into it you can't drag yourself away! Loads of it is so interesting - I have a relative that was hung for SHEEP STEALING!!!
I don't think my dad has done as much as you, i'd love to keep learning more about the people I am related to, I sometimes find it hard to get my head around the fact that I come from these people.
Thank you all so much for your positive comments on my cake, it still didn't look as I wanted it to but i'm not going to be defeated by it, and at the end of the day - who will really remember?! I think they're going to remember the freezing temperatures and rain that we're looking likely to have more - something out of my control! It's a shame as it was so lovely last March.
Nanamia of course you're a nice person! You've been great to everyone on here.
Fiesty well done on being strong and saying what you wanted to say, I for one also know how hard this can be!
Amongst everything going on I have actually managed to pick up a couple of bits for Christmas; another basket for a hamper for 79p, and one of the hampers is a book hamper for a friend which I want to put a mini bottle of wine and a wine glass in, and I got a perfect sized glass today for 59p. Only a couple of bits but it all helps!0 -
Yay at the orders Feisty! Its good that the orders werent because it was featured anywhere, means that they bought them because your designs are just so amazing!
xx
princesskitty-Buying bits here and there is definitely the way to go, the book hamper sounds lovely! I was thinking of doing one for my niece who loves reading. Will substitute wine for juice though seeing as she'll only be 8!I hope you have glorious weather but I did read somewhere the other day that its good luck if it rains on your wedding day. Something to do with a wet knot is harder to untie/break? (tying the knot)
