SPRINGDREAMS, NANAMIA, SNUGGLEBUNNY, MONEYSAVINGMUMOFONE thankyou you lovely ladies it does mean a lot to me, its not anything specific that has set it off just woke up monday and knew felt numb and down and have hardly been able to get out of bed all week plus i have had non stop headaches grr
NANAMIA hope you have had a lovely day and thats fantastic news about DSIL onwards and upwards
SNUGGLEBUNNY sorry you are sad about your neighbours moving especially when you are so close
OPEE that reminded me when we last moved, late friday afternoon we went to pick lorry up, and they had no booking, we had booked it a month before, we said who we booked it with and they had obviously forgotten to write it in book, we had to madly ring every van hire around as whole house was packed up and we were due to move next morning! Fortunately we did manage to find one thank god.#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Thanks lovelies, I've had such a good day. Why don't we do a Great Britain day? The air con was finally fitted this morning, phew such an improvement. Oh how I like to moan. Then this afternoon we celebrated with the rest of our DGDs new countrymen. They certainly are such a relaxed, family orientated bunch
We drove to a close by town with docks for there entertainment and fireworks display. Probably about a mile stretch of beach and large greens before the dock people just set up with picnic blankets and cool boxes, some had radios it was like a huge festival. One family even brought a pick up truck with a pool table. They just partied the night away
such an amazing atmosphere. I was very jealous that we don't have anything similar in the UK. Totally free family entertainment
It was wonderful DGD loves to dance, she had such fun. We went into the dock area which is gorgeous after the firework display for dinner. Fish and chips over looking the sea I think I'm in heaven
xxx
Then DH, DGD and I took a ride on there big wheel (London eye type thing) DGD is such a joy, she's three and three months and is like a sponge soaking in everythingxxx

Freespirit it makes me sad that you've felt like this almost a week and not let us help. I truly truly wish I could share my joy with you. Please be very extra specially kind to yourself and enjoy your company tomorrow.
Moneysavingmumofone I will be on first thing Monday morning checking! I'm sure your Mum is very worried, you kno what we Mums are like (specially 48yr old ones born early July)xxx
Do you kno I'm sure I've read somewhere re elderly drivers that it is they who decide if they are fit to continue driving! The rudeness and selfishness of some elderly people I've seen would shock most stroppy teenagersThe secret of Christmas

bbthree... nightmare of a story, must have taken a while to get over those feelings.
omo... glad ds is responding to the meds, hope the pain eases soon and you can all get over it.
feisty.. my brother works in pets@home, i would take it as a bargain! they have a certain budget they allow for mistakes like that and shoplifting etc so it will just go in with that. And they are all animal loving so will be happy the guineas are happy. Enjoy your bargain.
Today was a rather large spending day here.... we went bed shopping which i had great fun bantering with the sales guy lol the other customers and salesmen kept looking over our way etc. 2 hours to buy a bed :O lol the bed we knew which we wanted... the mattress on the other hand lol took quite some selling but we finally found one both me and dh liked, then came the price.. amazing how much of a little cheekiness gets you.. We walked out of there with £200 worth of free goods as well as a heavily reduced bed and mattress.. All from me bantering and dh able to pay cash. We even got a phone call on the way home saying They've rushed through the delievery date for us too lol so a week and ahalf time we'll see if this bed lets me get comfy enough to actually sleep :O
We then went in m&s and they had their managers bargain sale on, loads of people downstairs but i needed underwear so went for a hunt and got 4 sets that had 75% off yay! hardly ever see my size in the sale so well chuffed lol....Totally debt free wohooo 2014

God, don't get me started on old people driving....where we are there are so many old people...most of them shouldn't be on the road at all. I know they want to be independent but they can be so dangerous. I hope I won't turn out to be like that, lol.
Hugs to all who are having a bad time, hope things will improve for you all x
Feisty - dont feel bad about pets@home, they're so expensive anyway, sure they won't miss the £6 ;-) and by the sounds of it, your guinea pigs deserve to be spoil.
Missgigglewick - well done you for getting the bargain bed & mattress! I love bantering. My opinion is if you don't ask, you won't get & you've got nothing to lose by asking :-)0 -
Fantastic bargains msgigglewick! I hope the bed is so comfy you'll be having sweet dreams soon. My brother gave us his old bed as mine has broken so much Im sleeping on the only raised bit in the middle. :rotfl:Need to declutter the bedroom so I can actually dismantle the old one and put it up though.'They only had one cow!'0

Always after a bargain we've missed you has DH gone away to work again? Must be so hard. What a chuckle we've had with the OMO ooh what goes on on the bases would bring tears to my eyes. Ha ha ha
Thank you, no thankfully we have a quiet few months ahead. Just normal working weeks for him and back home on weekends, apart from a few duties here and there. Me and the kids are enjoying having him around more.
I agree with that alot of the elderly are really rude. I have come across a few and I will tell them straight regardless of their age. I was brought up to say please, thank you and to hold the door for people behind me etc. say thank you when people move to the side to let you pass etc so why should someone not do the same and use their age as a excuse, don't wash with me ,no excuse for rudeness.
Picked up my Jamie Oliver board set today that I had in the boots 75% sale. Soon as I got it out of its box, hubby claimed it for himself. Planning to put it away as a gift for someone through the year but can't now ha ha. Hubby loves to cook. Talking about cooking better get myself off as hubby is cooking tonight fillet steak and I have a lovely bottle of red waiting. I know expensive treat but we don't do it often but thought we would treat ourselves.
have a lovely evening everyone x'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0 -

Quick message before I log off, are you on facebook? On there is a doctor who merchandise page which all the new merchandise coming out within the next few months is listed, pictures and all, my daughter has her heart set in the new assistant Clara. Bought her the screwdriver today and have subscribe to the magazine, she is turning into a proper doctor who geek :rotfl:
msgigglewick enjoy your new bed Hun, we bought a new one last year, bought a superking and the mattress is to die for. Can't believe I spent so many years sleeping on a old uncomfortable one but when money is tight you can't help it, so once we had extra money it was the first thing we bought, so happy for you that you can treat yourselves now and life is now more comfortable for you x'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0 -
Oh NANAMIA that does sound like heaven i am so glad you are having such a lovely time with your family you deserve it, and yes wouldnt it be nice if it was more family orientated over here, if someone turned up on our beach with a pool table, Health & Safety would be there like a shot saying put it away a ball could fly off and hit someone!!
