Morning
Bossymoo -
Massive hugs for you. It is very sad to lose an elderly relative. I lost both my grandparents and while we were very sad it was a huge relief to see their suffering end. I cannot begin to imagine how it must be for you so please have a massive hug and give those lovely babies a big one from us too xxxx
Only thing started on this morning is more of mount washmore, both WM and TD are currently on and I have a pile of very neatly folded stuff that will be skipping the ironing challenge
Waiting for a text reply from DD as the mum of the friend who she sleptover at I think is a textiles teacher so I need some advice on altering a dress that I bought in the sales. I love it but its too big which was disappointing as their normally fits me perfectly.
Ooh new Easycook has arrived, might have a flick through that while I supp tea.
See you laterMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
So far:-
All upstairs is hoovered, DD's bedroom tidied and dusted - don't know what's going on downstairs - that's the boys domain when we're flying. OH made a cooked breakfast whilst attacking the kitchen, so we've decluttered that.
All gibble has been put in the right room, even if not put away yet. DS has just taken the dog out for a blast as he's chomping at the bit.
Off downstairs now as also done TD x 1, WM x 2 - just about to empty both and carry on with more, then I'll return upstairs, have a shower to make myself presentable and then do the bathroom - another HH anyone?
TMD xxDecluttering junk and debt in 2016

Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j

Huge hugs Bossy, for you and the rest of the family xx
I was with you earlier with the HHC..............I did some ironing!!!! Then showered and dressed. DD is tidying her room. OH wants to go out somewhere today but we don't know where..........and don't know what time DSD is coming down.........
Emailed BT to complain........how can it take 7 weeks to get a phone line and broadband put in!??!?!?!?!0 -
So my HH became two HHs. Bedding changed and WM now going, house hoovered/swept/mopped and paw prints spot cleaned from the cream rug.
Left to do:
Set up recorder for this week's TV
Clean cooker
Clean kitchen units
Sort out emails etc on home pc
Will report back again later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Washing finished, sorted, TD on. Other stuff hung up to dry. Next 2 loads ready to go. Made cuppa and toast for DS. Bins emptied. Recycling sorted. Porridge guzzled. Now making shopping list.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." [STRIKE]Make sure all bins are emptied and cleaned out[/STRIKE]

soup![/STRIKE] Re did the fridge and freezer inventory which is what I use as a meal plan. I've got rid of two portions of pumpkin soup which has been in the freezer for well over a year now. I've no idea why I made it as I never buy soup anyway.

(((hugs))) and coping vibes for Bossy and family. I hope you can all be there for each other.
Well done, team TMD. It's great that you're all working together and sounds like you're going to get there.
I've been a lazy moo so far this morning. Should have got up when DH went to work, really (and even he laid in). I'm going to try to make up for it this afternoon, though.
Main focus will be:
laundry
mealplan/cooking (and some shopping if needed)
paperwork tidy (big hotspot in LR)
DS2's room
Food and another cuppa now, while I look at the lidl/aldi offers for this week.
ETA Thank you for the advice, bonny. Seems that the flyladies are in agreement that getting rid of stuff quickly would be better. Think I agree, so we'll get on with it.0 -
Online shop done. DW emptied. Coffee slurped. Rough meal plan done. Absolute silence enjoyed muchly.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0

Sure did - got spoiled by my family and didn't do much cooking - just knocked up a trifle, a Christmas Cake and DD did the mince pies.kazmeister wrote: »Valli - glad you enjoyed your christmas and sounds like you have been flying high!

Didnt realise it was so late. Off to my pit now. Night all
Am VERY amused - clicked on the link and the 'customers who bought this also bought' bit was ALL Sheldon Cooper (Big Bang Theory - I'm a fan) t-shirts! How appropriate!
Have washed and dried and folded/ironed this morning as appropriate. Have also cleaned the PC (externally., and vacuumed properly under/around it. So Villa Valli will be new-pin-like for the New Year:T
Knocked up a Lancashire Hot Pot (whoopsied lamb, started it off in the microwave, and adjusted the recipe to include carrots) at DD's request and DS CAME UP TO ME AND SAID HOW NICE IT WAS - that was a (very pleasant) surprise. I wasn't having any as I went out last night with my friends for an Indian meal.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
