Cabin fever and over tiredness set in at teh Dusty abode.
Teenagers both off to work in the next hour, I'll drop one and have an hour in town, few errands to run and dry cleaning to collect.
All kids beds stripped mattresses turned and generally remade, need one more duvet cover to dry.
Fridge emptied of stuff to use up today and a tiny bit to bin (did very well there).
Oh and surprisingly it is raining, who'd have thought it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
have caught up with the thread now - sorry to hear your news Bossy - as Dusty said, go with what feels right. (((hugs)))Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

            Phew - chillax time.
Postman has been this morning with a rather strange item. It's a prepaid credit card from Citi/Siemens. I bought an Siemens 8kg TD in November and there was a cashback of £75 which I submitted. The blurb said I should receive c/b by mid-Jan. Anyhow, I was expecting a cheque for this, so I am quite surprised that a prepaid c/card has arrived. There's the usual T&C's with it, but nothing to say that the card contains £75 loaded onto it. I need to do some shopping today for the guests that are about to arrive, so I think I may chance it (taking my usual debit card too for backup) and try and purchase my goods with it. Has anyone else had this happen to them before? What is really strange is that I am a discharged Bankrupt (almost 5 years now) and wouldn't have expected anyone to be offering these things to me yet. Goes to show the negligence of the banking system. I'll be posting this on the BR Thread too and see if this is usual, but just wanted to share this. Sorry for boring you all with this, but it is most peculiar.
Anyhow, back to the lists. House is looking B-E-A-U-T-I--F-U-L.
Just waiting on various rounds of WM and TD to finish and I'm straight. Gonna see what else I can get up-to-date on:-

truly, someone gave SS one of those pre-loaded credit cards for christmas a few years ago which he sold to me because he wanted the cash. It had £20 on and it can be used anywhere supposedly but I couldn't online, must admit the sales people in Lush really struggled with it. It isn't a credit card as such, just a pre loaded gift card that goes into credit card machines. HTH'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Bossymoo - hugs - I concur - go with what feels right!
Yesterday I felt yeuch! Couldn't pin it down ( well I have a cough) but bleugh was fairly appropriate. Gave in at 8pm and went to bed. Surprisingly I slept like a baby - and I do feel better today (which given that I'm going to my mums on Weds is good news!). Have been having a quiet day reading but am now going to brave the ironing....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Bossy I'm so sorry for your loss; it's never easy, is it, even when you know she was hurting. Sleep well, granny.
