More washing. More DW. Non-tumbledryable stuff not drying very fast hung around the house
Manky baking sheets/roasting tins flung :T Walked to shops to get a few bits we need before the main shop arrives tomorrow. I need to halve the cost of the online shop
I have started coughing and sniffing and my throat hurts. Dr Bonnie self-prescribes b**chams tabs, spicy food and wine
Glad you are warm and sorted LW xx Remember, in your most anxious moments there is an army of us surrounding you and keeping you safe :A
As the year ends I have been thinking about the lovely flyladies and how we have helped and encouraged each other *wipes away tear* Indulge me if you will, I would like to propose we disclose our 'top 3' posts which have touched us in some way...
For me it is (in no particular order)
1. jojo narrowing her eyes at the pollyanna-inspired lists (still makes me :rotfl: when I think about it)
2. piggers' marathon post about the girls' christening
3. little miss moo losing her poo (...oh no, where's it gone?...) another :rotfl: moment

Well I don't know where my get up and go has gone...anyone seen it???
I need a good kick as I have done sweet FA since Christmas day, hey ho, tomorrow is another day as they say so I'm off to bed so I can actually do some sorting out tomorrow, house looks like a bomb site!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -

If mine has done a bunk together with yours and you find them first, will you please send it home?
I researched SW recipes on their website, had a bath, went with DS2 to Mr A's for some basics (found a few clothes in the sale for him
and also took plastic recycling) and spent an hour tidying his room with him. Glass/tin/card recycling is now in the correct bins. Some progress made, then.
I already feel tired again and I suspect that I'm still fighting off something virus-like. Going to start WM and DW and clear a few things away before collecting DS1 from work at 11.
Then I'm off to bed with a drink of some sorts.0 -
Good evening

(((Hugs))) to Bossy and the little Moos
We have been at my Mum's today. I managed to clear the DR, vac & then vax the DR carpet. I didn't get the hall done though, as we were already running late for my mum's
DR is all back as it should be now. Table is extended again as we have invited my sis & BIL over to dinner as they are not going back up t'north until Monday or Tuesday. DD1 is coming home tomorrow as well. I have upset DD2 s she has asked if her friend can come over too, but I said no. I know I sound horrible, but when she is with this friend they sit & giggle & exclude everyone else. It annoys the hell out of me, and it is rude  And this is family time. DD1 hasn't opened her Christmas presents yet! She won't want her there either.
So - tomorrow I need to:
make sure we have enough veg (and get some if needed)
wrap up DD1's presents
walk dog
put away vax machine as I won't be doing the tomorrow
I also need to look at some study
Not too sure I will get a chance tomorrow.
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them.0 -
Been to Meadowhall and DS drove there and back (with his l plates on). He is a good driver, I'm impressed - he should pass next time (as long as he sees all the roadsigns;)) I would have had kittens driving in a cityas a learner or even as a new driver! (We go through the city, not up the M1) I am surprised though at how unfamiliar he is with the route, although, thinking about it when I started to drive I wasn't too good, even with journeys I had often done as a passenger. He won't be having more lessons until nearer his test, so this is keeping his hand in, so to speak.
I spent FAR too much in Lakeland but I have bitten the bullet and bought loaf tin liners as I am heartily sick of constructing my own. And I now have tea and sugar canisters to match my kitchen. Coffee I keeps in the jar;) DS spent his Superdry voucher on a hoodie; I have reduced Paperchase wrapping paper - I was VERY impressed with last January's paper; good quality and, more importantly, easy to use.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
bossymoo - lots of love, hugs and prayers heading your way xx
Been a tough day here as we (mum, cousin and I) were sorting a bit in my Aunty's house
My cousin had asked us to go to see if there was anything we'd like to keep which was really nice of him - I now have her gold cross necklace and a few photos
Then I got home to find that Patch was struggling so I have now said goodbye to him too and am currently ratless
Tis very quiet in here .......
Anyway - I need major kicking tomorrow to sort this house before I disappear under all the clutter so am hoping some of you may be around for some HHCs and clearouts!! See you in the morning!
