Might get up for some brekky though as stomach is beginning to growl. Not sure of plans after that but I sure as h3ll wont be going out.

Glad to see all ok skintbreeder and lovely to see 1step popping in.

Morning! Well, I chased DD back to bed at midnight twice, but other than that, I had a good sleep on my own, in my own bed! Hurrah!

We are meeting a friend at play gym this morning, and I'm going to pay the deposit for DS birthday party, can't believe he will be 4 in a month!!!

Made the beds, fed and dressed self and tots, and we've tackled the RoD! So I'm pleased with that, they have room to play and I can get to the freezer when mr t arrives later.

Kitchen dailies done too, just waiting for wm to finish and then I'll hang them up and away we go to play.

Will get them something warm to eat out so we can have a simple supper.

    Have a nice day.

    Morning all :)

Currently watching Ghost while doing computery bits. Going to tackle some more housework today, but since there's only me at home there's no-one to delegate to but the mess is minimal as well :D I also have some accounts I want to get entered into a program so I'll carry on watching my films while I do that ;)

    Morning all

Was up a bit earlier than yesterday, but still seem to need lots of sleep. I managed to see a GP yesterday and was prescribed antibios, so things will hopefully look up soon.

Yesterday afternoon I took DS1 to a friend across town, DS2 spent his Game gift card on another skylander figure and we delivered birthday cards to SIL. Played Wii with DS2 (just dance 2) and then decluttered lots of pages in my new kindle book. :o

Today has to be more productive and I don't intend to go anywhere (until collecting DS1 from work - oops, best get some food ready for him to take).

Can I please ask your advice: I don't know whether to declutter the quick way (charity shop/throwing away) or to e-bay any [STRIKE]old tat[/STRIKE] items of interest. I could do with the money for various projects, but time is also in short supply and creating space quickly would be nice.

Back in a bit with my list.

MrsC - depends on the value of the stuff and the value you place on your time. I have a mental minimum before I will make the effort for both e-bay and Amazon. You work a lot more hours than me so I hope you place a higher premium on your time! Whatever you do I am guessing it needs to be out of the way before term starts?

I did a tip run this morning too, 8am and raining so only me there. Broken tat from the big clean and wrapping paper.

WM is on, need to clear out the kitchen as well and hoover.

Enthusiam is a little lacking today.
    OH is at work
    DS2 is having lunch
    DS1 is watching a dvd
I have managed 3xwm and bath/hair wash (not even dried it)

Suppose if anyone fancies a HHC I may be encouraged :o

Thanks, hex. I think I just needed someone to spell it out. I won't manage all the decluttering during this holiday - not if I also want to spend time with DS2, do some studying and not be on my knees when I go back to work - so it's a longer term project.

I'll keep a box of anything that might be worth a bit more and the rest can leave the house as I declutter. :T

ETA I'll join you in a HHC or two from 12:00, dancemum and FFP. Just what I needed to get going. I'll start in the kitchen.

Towel Saga Chapter ?. Went down to lodger's room as soon as he was out this morning to rescue the soggy towel from his radiator and pop it back into the bathroom - and it's disappeared completely! I am at a bit of a loss on that one.

Bathroom cleaned on Boxing Day, Shower Room cleaned yesterday, fridge sorted this morning and all leftovers will be in the freezer later. Then I will wash the hard floors throughout the house. The rest can wait.
    Better is good enough.
