Hugs to all the poorlies

DD has been asleep on sofa for an hour so I have:
Covered her in a blanket
Taken all Xmas bumpf upstairs and dumped on spare bed
Rolled up mum air bed
Vacced DD bedroom
Replaced her bed and other bits and bobs
Vacced DS bedroom and tidied
Made a cuppa and munched some maltesers
The playroom is the RoD but I'm going to leave that till later. I've taken the chairbed out of DD room as they only bounce on it, so there is room for her little dolls house up there, and some more toys. Which will help the RoD. Conservatory isn't much better, bit of a dumping ground. But I'm not too worried about that, as it's too cold to go out there anyway...
I'll put some Xmas stuff up in the loft tonight out of the way. Next Wednesday I'll take the tree down and have a good loft sort so everything is away and protected.
Back to "normal".Bossymoo

Hi G&B, lovely to see you posting. At least you will have no more used underwear left on the kitchen worktop! How is your DD?
LW - hope the boiler goes smoothly
helenjelly - ouch on the car, took mine to the shop earlier and it smells funny which worried me
bossymoo - not awful, I agree. I want to take ours down too.
1.30 and I am still the only person who has been downstairs yet  . Not sure moving all toys upstairs was a good thing!
DW emptied and filled, plus WM/TD on.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Afternoon ladies! As a very recent returner, it's nice to see other familiar names popping in, hi to G&B.
Grey and rainy here, and DD working,
, I miss her.
I have done the main bedroom bed linen, but that's about it. Plenty of reading though! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Well I had a shower, Natty? You?
DD hovered through upstairs and I have done nothing since!!!!
DD has gone out to play.....not for long hopefully, I hate having to go look for her. She has lost her phone, again. I told her to get one out of the Christmas money she has and I'm hoping she will look after it if she pays for it..................
Playing on the laptop for a bit.......may move then...........0 -
I'm chilling and decluttering my Xmas choccies
I didn't get that much, but I still managed to get more than DD :rotfl: Starting a health kick in the New Year so figured best to clear the temptation now
Its so nice to sit and do nothing instead of crafting Xmas stuff whenever I sit down.
Bossymoo - I've taken the majority of my decs down already. I still have foil garlands, all the cards, and DD's 3ft tree up as well as my window decorated. DD also has a little tree in her room which will stay up until 12th night. I do this every year
Takes me days to put them up and then I have them down and thrown/stored within hours of DD leaving for her dads :rotfl:
- Mop the kitchen floor!
- Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good!
- Wipe the table/table cloth
- Delete some emails, old links
- Hoover upstairs/bedrooms
- S&S kitchen and bathroom
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Serena DS1 is working today too, both jobs. Both DS1 and DS2 working tomorrow. I guess they are just grateful to have the work (DS1 finishes at JL tomorrow though).
I'm bored today but not in the mood to do anything either so just aimlessly pottering. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dailies done and a quick tidy. House not too bad as I was out Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Had lunch and been shopping with DD.
Recycling and rubbish put out.
I would like to take my decorations down too but will hang on a little while longer.
Hi g&b nice to see you back.0 -
Snap - I did get the hoover out and did all downstairs and removed all the presents from the LR but mine are still sat on the stairs (kids took theirs up) and I put DH's on the side in the DR (well they'd fit into a shoe box anyway so not too untidy). Thats it, all I seem to have done other than that is drink tea and have the odd snack or two, namely stuffing balls I forgot to serve for Christmas Dinner swiftly followed by several Quality Street. Have been looking through some recipe books for inspiration but not doing too well. Might make a quiche with JP and salad for tea (well theres ham needs using up) I guess its really odd DH being at work and me at home as Ive got used to him being here most of the time now.Dustykitten wrote: »I'm bored today but not in the mood to do anything either so just aimlessly pottering.
Ionafan - I hope the chest infection clears quickly with the ab's
helen jelly - thats not what you need post Christmas. Having said that I need to nag DH for a new tyre as I'm fairly sure one of mine is bordering on illegal.
Bossymoo - I was reluctant to put mine up this year and then only did the tree and hung cards up so No!
Joannasmum - welcome to the thread, hope you enjoy our flylady antics
Off to surf for a bit and maybe do some moreMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Sounds delicious, kazmeister! How many of your 5-a-day? (Don't forget the herbs, fruit centres, etc)
We are also eating up bits and demolishing chocs and nougat :T
Our Christmas decorations will stay up until at least New Year because we're away for a couple of days and then expecting guests on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I love my Christmas lights, especially on gloomy days like today. Our house is lit up like a beacon at the end of the cul-de-sac!

LW - yes she got to the shop lol. I crawled into their car park [it was closer to get there than home] I then bunny hopped to a garage lol.
Ionafan - hope you feel better for tomorrow
I've taken the cards down and DD has taken her tree down, I'll do the rest at the weekend when the kiddies are at their Dads and I can do it in peace lol
I've done nothing else all day, can't be bothered lol.
