The plumbers are here!:T They arrived 20 minutes before they were due, Mr LW is wfh, and we're all holed up in the lounge while the plumbers wreck my kitchen.:D

I don't need to get my Tarot cards out to foresee some major Flying after they've finished.....

Coping vibes and spoons to LW - and easy boiler installation vibes....
:jFlylady and proud of it:j

What a morning - decided to take DD to Prim@rk so she could spend her voucher, broke down in car, managed to crawl to a Garage £100 later and its fixed but its £100 we don't have so a major reshuffle of finances going on and Ebay selling will commence very soon

Need to do some flying too

Hi all,

Is it awful that I want to put the decs away? I've collected everything but the tree and the wreath on the front door.

Kitchen, living room and dining room back to civilisation. Playroom looks like a war zone. And I need to put the beds back in the right rooms. Have done one wash and another is ready to go. My stairs are cluttered with Xmas decs. Am hoping DD will nod off as she is laying on the sofa, then I can take everything upstairs and make a start up there. It's actually not too bad up there, just needs re organising, and a spot of hoovering in DD room before I put her bed back.

Hugs to all x

Good morning everyone

LW, I am very pleased to hear that the plumbers started not just on time but early. Hopefully that means they will finish sooner too. Coping vibes heading your way :)

Sorry to hear about your car problems helen jelly - what rotten luck. Free listing on eB@y until 1 January!

I rang the doctors' surgery at 8.05 today (still in my dressing gown at the time), finally got through at 8.15 and was offered an appointment at 8.30 - and I managed to have a quick shower, get dressed and still arrive on time! I've been feeling grotty all through Christmas and DH has been trying to persuade me to ring the Dr, but it was my son who convinced me when he rang yesterday. Anyway, I made it to the appointment and have been told I've got a chest infection :( so am now on ABs.

I do *not* intend to miss the family party tomorrow with all my children and grandchildren!!! :j

I have actually managed to complete a job on the computer this morning and make another phonecall (despite the hacking cough). DH :A has done all the washing up, emptied the DW and brought me :coffee: Now I'm going to try and finish off DGD1's dolls clothes and might also have a little nap before lunch - lots of broken nights with coughing, so greatly in need of sleep. And I mustn't forget to make the lasagne for us all tomorrow. Otherwise there is no flying to be done as everything is still tidy and clean :D

Spoons and (((hugs))) to all who need them.

SB5 - thinking especially of you. How are you getting on?
