Evening
Had a lazy start to the day and evrywhere was relatively tidy. That was until I decided to 'use' up some things from the fridge whike supping bubbly. Result - kitchen is a bombsite but I have made a very spicy carrot soup (DH's homemade chilli powder is STRONG!), some HM butter which is delicious and I have chopped all my herbs up ready to do something with once I have decided how will be the best way to preserve them. I was originally thinking mix with butter and freeze but the butter is too nice on its own.
DD is out and wont eat soup for tea when she comes in, DS has come in raided the fridge and is going out again shortly and DH is chilling, watching films and feeling much better. Oh and doogie is curled up on my feet post walk with DD before it started raining again.

Take it easy dusty
My fridge is Tupperware city too. I took a bag of bits to a friend in need.
Done bits of tidying, washing. Nothing very structured. Need to re gift some bits.
Hubby was impressed at my post xmas dinner tidying. Basically clearing all the plates and organising the leftovers into Tupperware.

For some reason I turned into the Energiser bunny today. All presents away. Car hoovered. Unpacked from Xmas with in-laws. Fitted bluetooth and holder in car. Sewed up hole in coat that keys keep falling through (while watching Turner and Hooch) 2 x washing.
Now to prepare two picnic loaves and couscous for tomorrows family get together at in-laws, and cook pheasant for dinner. Have put hoover in kitchen so I keep falling over it - must hoover and wipe floor tonight.
After that I think I might just crash with hot chocolate and marsh mallows and something silly on TV.
Thanks to all the flyladies. It's knowing there are spyders everywhere that keeps me on the straight and narrow:DGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Happy Birthday Pigpen
Dusty, hope you are ok?
Have started a new thread on the Facebook group for those like me who are feeling a little challenged in the weight/health/fitness department if anyone wants to come and play.
Trying to keep things clear so we don't sink back into the mess. S&S is not enough! I have hoovered, washed up (lots), done two loads of washing, and made beds.

Good evening

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas
We managed to have everything sorted here in a very relaxed manner. The kitchen looked good up until dishing up time as we had been clearing up/washing up as we go.
DH got up this morning and cleaned up the kitchen while I was catching up with Corrie :T The DR has been put back to normal as well.
Went out with the dog with DH & DS and got very wet
Will this rain ever stop?! Hopefully we will have a drier 2013. I hope everyone is staying dry & safe.
I may even check out the lists tomorrow
We are hopefully going to the cinema tomorrow - but we can't agree on a film! DH wants to see the Hobbit, or Skyfall, or Life of Pi. The kids want to see Nativity 2 or Rise of the Guardians. I don't mind what I see. I suggested we send the kids into 1 film, and DH & I see another
They can make their own way home!! It does defeat the object of all going to the cinema. Ho hum!!
