Hello strangers:) Long time no see....
Been crazy busy and house is a tip! Will shortly be rectfied though, as of thursday next week my (soon to be ex) husband moves out and takes his massive amounts of crap with him. So I can begin to reclaim my home and sanity.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
GI - Another vote here for Nativity 2 - I saw it with my 19 yearold and we both loved it!
Would also recommend skyfall - am hoping to see the hobbit in the next week or so!
Well OH back to work tomorrow so some normality should return here! With us not feeling well at the weekend we have really enjoyed 2 days of doing nothing! Will be flying tomorrow!
PS welcome back gunsandbanjos!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Evening all.
Just back from aunts minus one child. Lovely party, but we decided to come home. Well, DS decided to go with my inlaws (who have an open invite to parties on my side of the family) so he's sleeping at theirs, and I just have DD. My mum drove my car, as she has an abscess. Luckily my cousin is her dentist so he has sorted her some antib's and his wife is a dr so she checked on pain relief with her existing medication. Very handy having medical staff in the family! Plus it meant I could have a few wines and still go home.
Don't even want to look at the house, we are in a tip! So that's my task for tomorrow, as well as go collect DS.
Over the next couple of days I need to:
[STRIKE]Sort fridge / leftovers
Plan a shop - my freezer is empty! (well, nearly!)
Empty DW and sort dirties
Laundry[/STRIKE]
Clean kitchen floor, DR floor, and hallway
[STRIKE]Put table / DR back to rights, and spare chairs away
Vac everywhere[/STRIKE]
Do a toy sort
Freegle
Sort beds and put DD room back
S&S all bathrooms
Sort DS clothes - he is growing
But not tonight, I'm in bed with a cuppa and the last of my home made baileys and caramel tiramisu

:j Yay, GnB is back - good to see you posting! Sorry to hear your news but hope you are as positive as your post sounded xMy Would you mind telling me what you think about the film? Have heard mixed comments so far.Goodintentions wrote: »I may even check out the lists tomorrow
We are hopefully going to the cinema tomorrow - but we can't agree on a film! DH wants to see the Hobbit, or Skyfall, or Life of Pi. The kids want to see Nativity 2 or Rise of the Guardians. I don't mind what I see.
Ok, just my opinions but ..........
I loved The Hobbit - not as dark as LOTR and some funny moments, great actors and fantastic effects and scenery;
Skyfall - was good but not as wow as I was expecting;
Life of Pi - lovely film, beautifully shot and very different (not sure if children would like it though);
Nativity 2 - easy going, funny and children will love it but not as good as the first one;
Rise of the Guardians - errmmm, not actually seen this one yet!!
Disclaimer - you may not have the same tastes as me so I will not accept any blame for disappointment at the cinema!!!
:rotfl:
Anyway, flying today has consisted of cleaning the sink and toilet, and washing up! Planning a Mr A shop tomorrow and then washing, cleaning kitchen and tidying front room. I wonderhow much I'll actually do!!!!
