don't forget pork should always be cooked on high.

    Why?
I`ve done pork on low for years  I never knew anything about cooking it on high unless in a hurry.

I'm hoping someone can help me? I thought I remembered reading about doing pork in a plum sauce in the SC, but I can't seem to find it now?

    I've put:
    steak mince
carrots - chopped into small cubes
    onions - chopped
    potatoes - largish cubes
stock cube with added mixed herbs, black pepper, wholegrain mustard, balsamic vinegar

When it's cooked, I'll spoon out the mince, onion & carrots into a pie dish, top with shortcrust pastry (in the freezer ready-made leftover from another pie) and pop into the oven.

I'll serve the pie with the potatoes and some leftover savoy cabbage on the side with the thickened gravy.
    left over red wine

    Brokenwings
    what on earth is that?
I've never got any of that in MY kitchen. :rotfl: :rotfl:
