Great minds Elona, actually your post earlier made me think of it as I had liver in the freezer.

At least you've had a productive day! :)

Rwsteele, what would you change your user name to?

I'm not using my slow cooker today, I was planning on using the leftovers from casserole cooked in the pot yesterday to save money and make a pie, but since visiting the Arms, too many shandy's have rendered me too unstable to make or afford the pastry :(:(:(

Squeaky - since I pretty much live in this squeaky old chair. The original sign in asked for a user name rather than a nickname. To me they're two different things. Ho hum. :)

Which would mean having a "resident chef" trawling the various threads and sub threads but, from what I saw of the link that Glad pointed out, much of that works seems to have been done already. To good effect, too. I've bookmarked the direct link to that post to allow me to peruse it at leisure.

Well, it's not like I don't have plenty of time on my hands, so I may well take up the challenge and produce a thread of recipes for easy access ;)

Don't hold your breath though as I easily get distracted by this lot in here so may be a while in coming :D

Which reminds me, Smiley_Mum is still waiting on me posting some curry recipes ... oooops :o

I can come up with some curry recipes, but not for the slow cooker though. I have an original old curry book in the kitchen.
