I was a bit disillusioned with my SC as it was burning things, but reading a few other threads on here, it seems my MR 6.5l cooker runs on a higher wattage and I may have been leaving it on too long :o Schoolboy error, so I decided to give it another go.

Today I have cooking away, 2 diced up chicken breasts and a tomato concoction I found in the freezer from a few months back when we came home from the market with a carrier bag full of tomatoes lol.

From memory, I fried up an onion and some garlic, then chucked in the tomatoes (quartered) and added a couple of chopped courgettes too, cooked it down then threw it in the freezer and forgot about it. I've just added some balsamic vinegar and pepper to taste.

I was going to cook it all up and freeze it again (naughty naughty lol) but it smells so nice, we're going to have it tonight with pasta.

    Yum yum.

Gammon going in mine overnight. Have had it in some water all afternoon to remove the salt.

Will leave it on overnight with a little bit of water

Little bit of water in there, with some chopped carrots, parsnip, green beans, two cloves of garlic & onion cut into quarters

I have just cleared out the veg basket in time for tomorrows asda delivery so in mine is

6 carrots , a swede, 2 leeks and about 6 sticks of celery, 3l of veg stock made from swiss boullion and a tsp of dried thyme. Just put it on now and I will leave it on low until morning before switching it to 'keep warm' for lunch
