In my slow cooker today...

I'm a proud new owner of a slow cooker - a big oval cookworks one.
I bought it yesterday from Argos 1/2 price at 14.69.
Ive browned some lamb steaks and got a variety of veg to make a curry for tonight.
I'm not sure that I might have put too much liquid in though as I had forgotton they don't loose much in the cooking process.
Never mind - we'll see how it turns out - it's all a learning experience for me.0 -

I have actually managed to change my Mum , she is 79 and now is in love with her slow cooker. She uses it nearly everyday, and it has restored her failing appetite, mainly due to aromas I think. So she is making cabbage abd ribs in it today. I got her the small Lakeland slow cooker and it still does her 2 meals so its perfect. Best 20 quid I ever invested.Clearing the junk to travel light
