How lonmg after they ate theirs did you have yours and what setting was it on?
I find for cleaning hot water and washing up liquid is OK and if that doesn't get it off then try switching it on with water and WUP liquid in it.

Morning all, I am not using the SC today but we are eating chilli for tea that was cooked in the SC and then frozen. Putting potatoes or rice with it (have not decided yet) & steaming some broccoli that needs eating up.
Brain power- I think if I am putting the steamer on I might as well throw in some new potatoes and frozen sweet corn for colour.
Going shopping later to stock up on fresh veg, etc...If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

This is the second time using mine so have thrown in browned pieces of chicken, parsnip, carrots, leeks, onions, sweet pots and some chicken stock.
Could anyone advise me on how to thicken it when it's time to serve has I'm a bit worried it will be a bit too watery.
Many thanks0 -

Oh No!! I have shattered the lid of my slow cooker. Just swept up all the glass bits. As it was a Quigg one from Aldi, I guess it's a dead loss and I will have to look out for a new one :-(
Going to give the ceramic pot to DH, maybe he can plant hyacinths in it. Now I need to change the slow-cooked elements in my menu plan into pressure-cooked ones......"Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0 -
Beef casserole, will have dumplings in by teatime.
Ella: I either toss the meat in flour after browning it, or add cornflour (mixed with a littel cold water) about half an hour from the end.0 -
