Also got drunk yesterday so now my pork has gone past its use by date (yesterday) Boooo. Im going to have to bin it arent i?

I wouldn't!!!! Just give it a sniff and if it smells okay and not gone a funny colour just roast it!! Pat skin dry with kitchen paper, score fat and sprinkle salt on top of fat. Shove in oven on 200 ish for however long the packet tells ya!! Then leave to rest for 20mins or so before serving. If its too late to have for tea today, roast it and have it cold tomorrow. Don't throw it away if it seems fine!!

No!! Absolutely not!! Just rinse it under the tap and smell it - it should be fine - it didn't "go off" on the stroke of midnight :rotfl:.

And you could always get drunk again before you eat it - so you wouldn't notice anyway :D.

Well in my slow cooker today I put £14 of brasing steak , was up first thing to do it and decided to just leave it to cook , as I am always poking and proding things in it.

So I wondered a while ago whay I could not smell it cooking, went into kitchen and I ahd only put it onto " warm" instead of cooking it

I am not happy , so is not in oven , how long is it going to take???? Will eb having sunday dinner on monday

  • Well, my ham was a disaster. I think I cooked it too long. It fell apart and the meat was stringy. I have kept the meat to use in soup. We will be having fish instead for dinner.*Sigh*
