  • I've got some diced turkey thighs which I browned with onions and garlic, green peppers, with some Lea & Perrins Medditeranian sauce that I bought from Home Bargains for 19p. Will serve with cous cous later.
  • I have got beef stew bubbling away (first time, so hoping it turns out ok!), and have just added the dumplings - can't wait to try it!!!

After reading loads of reviews on slow cooker recipe books I bought 'The 150 Best Slow Cooker Recipes' by Judith Finlayson. Although the recipes do require preparation I have to say all of the recipes I have tried have been absolutely fantastic.

  • In my BRAND NEW slowcooker :D was beef curry, cooked from the recipe in the leaflet.

It was the first time I've made a curry, and the first time I've used a slowcooker, and it was delicious!! Thanks to everyone who advised me about which one to get!

    xx
