  • It's chucking it down here. Wet Christmas weather is the pits :(

I got soaked walking the dog so off to have a nice hot shower, defuzz and condition my hair. Didn't manage to paint my nails yesterday so will do that today too.

Had a nice bath last night (with DD in tow ) and cleansed my face etc so felt pretty good. am back into watching Lisa Eldridges make up videos so am planning on my make up for tomorrow and i think I will wear a dress too :D

I'd like to thank you all for your company on these threads, I don't think I would be as bothered about looking after myself if it wasn't for this :o I wish you all a very calm, peaceful and totally fabulous Christmas and I hope Father Christmas is kind to you all xxxx

  • Morning all! Mind if I join?

Merry Christmas to all wishing you a lovely relaxing time with your families!

My 'fabbing' goals (hope I've got the right end of the stick here!)

    1. Make sure I get my hair cut regulalry- keep my hair looking healthy and actually in a style!
    2. Regularly use a deep conditioning treatment on my hair - twice a week
    3. Keep up a hair removal routine (eek!) legs, eyebrows, pits, lady area!! :)
    4. Gather a collection of beautiful greetings cards and make sure I am organised in sending lovely cards to friends in need, birthdays, etc.
    5. Spend time planning and cooking lovely healthy, homemade meals (apparently a 5ft 2 woman eating the same as her 6ft 4 boyfriend = weight gain- who'd have thought it!!
    6. Spend time thinking about what I am going to wear- for work and at weekends. Realise that I am not going to suddenly wake up size 8 one day and wait for that day to dress myself well, work with what I've got :)
    7. Wear perfume every day!
    8. Try some new make up looks.
    9. Download some new books for my kindle and new music for my ipod.
    10. Cleanse, moisturise and complete whole dental routine before bed every night.
    11. Finally book a dentist appointment to get the sensitivity in my teeth investigated...

Wooo that's quite a lot of goals for the next 3 months!

Ahhh how therapeutic and good it feel to set some lovely goals.

Apologies Skymist - forgot to wish you Happy Birthday yesterday - best belated wishes to you!

No need to apologise....but thank you very much! X :)

You girls fill the gaps in my RL which have been left by so many of my departed friends....I think I'd have gone nuts without being able to read and chat about your daily news, goals, achievements and all the myriad things you get up to......so MANY THANKS to you ALL just for being here and so willing to share your lives....I, for one, am really grateful!

So, enjoy more of  , _party_ as well as plenty of :kisses3: over the festive season!!!

I have just made some rather lovely looking biscuits for presents and trying hard not to eat them!

Only 10 of each to split into 3 gift bags - I also decorated them too with plain chocolate drizzles - get me!

  • Hey ladies, a newbie here!

Looking to improve my life and get myself fabulous for next year.

    So, my list is:

    1. Aim to get a cleanse, tone and moisturiser ritual every morning and night.
    2. Get my teeth fixed. Orthodontic appointment booked for February! :)
    3. Get into a healthier way of life, lose a little bit of padding that I have around my middle.
    4. Perfume needs to be put on everyday!
    5. Keep my hair long and lucious! Need to invest in some decent hair masks!

Afternoon everyone and a Merry Christmas!

Don't look very fab at the moment - scraped hair up after washing it this am as I've been baking all afternoon, no makeup but I did have a squirt of perfume this morning. I'm the worlds messiest baker so I'm covered in flour, as was the kitchen so just having 5 minutes after clearing up. It's many years since I've done so much homemade food (we have a buffet style meal on Christmas Eve) so fingers crossed it's all OK.

Having put the majority of my wardrobe in bags for the charity shop I need to hit the sales after Christmas but I need to work out what I need- no more impulse buys.

Got to go and see to the last quiche. All the best to everyone x

Merry Christmas to you all, hope that you have a lovely time. Ours is certainly going to be very different to the one we'd planned earlier on in the year.

Thanks to you all for being here and offering kind words and advice especially in the past couple of months. xxxx
