Universal Jobmatch - Mandatory from next year

DWP has rolled out a system in a rush that doesn't work to fulfill a government ideology.
Iain Duncan Smith is spouting the lie that UJM is a revolution & wonderful, what a clueless idiot.
The Jobpoints don't work & telephone Jobseeker Direct doesn't work & have been reduced to chaos.
There is no visible internet & no offer of of internet access to anybody, so it isn't availaible.
DWP & Jobcentres are clueless, incompetent & stupid.
The solution is you test things before you roll them out, as DWP knows.
Discussing with you is pointless, you are lowlife in Jobcentre, you just do what you're told blindly & follow rules to "feed your family", while implementing system designed to sanction & starve people.
.
The only lowlife here is you to personally attack someone for the Job they do is pathetic!! You really are a disgusting little man.
And yes my family will always come 1st as would yours I'm my situation.
I suggest if you don't like the way things are run, don't sign on its simple really.0 -
I know there are people who holds very different level of moral. I personally couldn't work for an organisation that scam people, be it selling dodgy products/services knowing it is dodgy etc. I feel bad to do something like that to another person. I just cannot understand mentality of such people and I hate to allow myself to be in such 'team'. You could say I'm picky but it would depress me and in a long run it's very unhealthy.0

Your answer is the jobseekers are the problem, not DWP, not jobcentres, not clueless system that doesn't work in real world, not DWP failing to test system, not clueless DWP who don't have connection with jobseekers & real world, not DWP staff & managers who don't have sense to question what's happening.
You're the one who is saying people should be sanctioned for not following rules of a system that doesn't work in real world, then has the nerve to say you'll do whatever to feed your family.0 -

Interesting point. I've been there myself a few times. One example was working for a couple of dodgy 'geezers'. The job entailed knocking on doors asking people if theyve had an accident in the past three years and whether they wished to make a claim! I lasted less than a week!
Should have known it was dodgy as the 'interview' was held in a Holiday Inn dining area!!!!!!!:rotfl:0 -

If the company delivers what they promised to do within the law they may be ok. It's a difference between knocking on someone's door or leaving a junkmail to tout for business. Equally, someone who has a home-based business might have to use a cafe to have a meeting.
I personally couldn't work for a bank though. There are already many discussions on MSE where people have been ripped off, mis-sold etc If I ever had to go to a bank for an interview, I will be very honest and tell them exactly what I think of them. Honesty is necessary...right? Or do we live in a society full of lies, lies lies all the time!?0 -
Yes, you can't answer questions of fact.

Exactly where have I said any of that??????0 -

Where exactly do we scam people, there are millions of jobsekers out there genuinely looking for work who should be able to claim. However there are also a lot scamming the system and yes I will reffer as many of those that I can to the descision makers. The benefit system is there to be a crutch in time of need not to abuse. Not just umemployed but those are in part-time work too, must raise your concerns! The system is flawed.0 -
Due to my housing benefit being cut, Ill be losing my home internet, so UJM wont be getting much use by me.
Another govt master stroke, cut peoples benefits and leave them without the means to search and apply for jobs. (I live 2 miles from my local library so its not an option)0 -
Well I am worried that a person like you is working at DWP/JC. Please re-read my previous posts. While there are fradulant jobseeker claims (only 0.8%), what I was talking about is not the jobseekers but people pretending to be employer. If the system has been tested and running watertight then any joe blog shouldn't have been able to register as employer. How do you vet those companies to go on the system? NOTHING. This is my point. :rotfl:

Again just another over personal post!!! Your issues should not be with individual advisor but those that put the regulations that we follow in place.
And I wasn't speaking about fraudulent claims I was talking about people on jsa that do nothing to look for work ie I has a customer who stated they had 28 interviews this month and when I called some of the companies they weren't even recruiting.....so are you saying people like that should be entitled to claim???
Do you think we do not know the system is flawed....we do not make the rules.
Before you criticise someone I suggest you walk a mile in their shoes0
