I just wish they did not 'allocate' any credit from our funds prior to despatch. Bad debenhams

Theres something definitely very odd going on because I remember specifically this was about £13.40 last night (tonight, £30.00)

Wondering if a lot of things that were really cheap last night weren't supposed to be discounted?
  • Scrap my last msg, I finally got the e-mail telling me what was cancelled and luckily it was the item I had tried to cancel this morning. So I'm a happy bunny! :D

Hmm it also looks like most of the items I bought have been removed from the website alltogether.

Rather more scarily is, if I go on to the bit for tracking orders, it says I've ordered 2 of several of the things in the order (I didn't), so I'm going to be mightily annoyed if they've somehow allocated more funds off my account than they should have!

No cancellation email for me but my order says cancelled all down it :(

Yes, it was definitely cheaper as I remember looking at it and thinking it was less than Costco had them at £19.

There were a suspiciously large number of items with 70% or more off last night, including an awful lot of lines which are probably popular current stock lines with no real reason for any significant reduction.

We ordered a load of Joseph Joseph kitchen stuff (£300+ at full price for about £55) and a roasting tray on one order. Only the roasting tray hasn't been cancelled.

Other orders for Braun Oral B 500 Toothbrushes for £13.50 each have been cancelled in the last few minutes.

Gutted! No Crusset dishes for me! Out of 10 items on 3 different orders, only a stock pot is still showing as processing.

    I only placed one order.
I've had the general cancellation e mail, but each item shows "order submitted to supplier"
    when I track it.
    So fingers crossed here.

Text of the email I got at 16.20 today. I have not had a cancellation email though.
    "
    Dear Customer

Thank you for placing your recent order with us.

We regret to inform you that we have experienced a small technical issue with our stock ordering system which has resulted in a number of items on orders placed yesterday have been unable to be fulfilled. You will have received an order update detailing the cancelled items.

Please rest assured no money has been debited from your bank account.
This error has now been corrected, if you still want the order this will need to be re-placed and can be done so either in-store or online.

May we once again apologise for the inconvenience caused on this occasion."
