2nd order all "unable to fulfil" but first order only one item out of stock. Some good bargains but it's so annoying when companies don't invest in their online systems to keep them up to date.

I too did an order last night, 30 minutes later, unable to fulfil the order. The thing that annoys me more is the products I had in my basket I can still go to now and add to another basket although they are out of stock. Someone else can end up hunting down, finding a bargain, paying and receiving email as I did. If they know its OOS their system should update automatically, plenty of other items on there are showing but when I go to add to basket they say stock levels are too low to add to basket even at 1 so you take that as OOS. Ridiculous. It cant be difficult if most other retailers can get it right!

I order loads with Debenhams and this is the first thing i've had cancelled- would rather it was a single item order though and not 8 things!

I recommend checking your bank accounts to make sure you still have your money. Facebook is full of reports of people being charged the order before the OOT email came through so worth checking in case they did.

They are also issues the same statement to everyone who is complaining about this issue to email heretohelp@debenhams.com with the problem and order number so you might want to email that one as well as the one posted on earlier by someone. I emailed both.

Amazingly poor service. Ordered on 26th... Despatched on 28th via hermes, charged on 28th... Still no sign of Parcel... Rang on 8th and told they need 72hrs to investigate and as it was a concession they could not refund immediately despite goods being missing. Stated they would call me within 72 hrs... Surprise surprise, no call

I will never use this comPany again. Shocking customer service

i ordered 9 items got an email saying unable to fulfil i called customer service they said there is a problem with the system and just cancelled the orders but either phone them back or reorder them in the next 24/48 hours when the problem should be fixed

Thanks for that but, to be honest, I would rather give someone else my money. I too have emailed to complain but don't really expect a reply.

How awful! Sorry to hear about everyone's OOS cancellations.

Not sure if it made a difference but I ordered 1 item yesterday (frying pan) and DELIVERED TO STORE not home... haven't had a cancellation yet.

All of mine were delivery to store, two orders with one item on each and one order with two items.
