  • I've brought ingredients to make Beans on Toast today.

Thanks.. this really made me smile!( it could just be me) But, you are right something like this is always good to have as a standby to resist the temptation of the canteen.

Had to work yesterday, and Saturday working is usually a disaster for me. However, I took a crumpet for mid-morning and one slice of bread sandwich and yoghurt for lunch; coop had a box of Cadbury's brunch barsx6 for £1 - so one of those completed the days food :)
  • Everyone's doing so well with taking packed breakfasts/lunches/dinners/snacks into work with them! Keep it up folks.

We got back late last night so I debated just buying lunch today... but I forced myself into making a cheese and cucumber sandwich insead. Hopefully tomorrow will be more exciting as I'm not keen on bread. (also have the usual sunbites, satsuma, banana and pear for grazing on).
    MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.

  • Brought the LO Beans from Friday to have for lunch today on Seeded Toast (as we didn't have a cooked breakfast yesterday). Apple, Yoghurt, LO Banana from Friday.

No porridge this morning - will probably have a snack when I get home to make up for lack of calories!

Home made soup again for me today - had to find a recipe that included stuff in the cupboards so it's butter bean, sun-dried tomato and pesto soup for me today - not sure about it but we shall see, fingers crossed it's going to taste good.

Phew it tasted fine - just as well as I expect I will be having the rest tomorrow.!

  • Leftover turkey and stuffing scariness for me with fresh fruit and a home made flap jack for today's lunch.

Tomorrow I am chopping up some ham, a hard boiled egg and salad taking a low fat dressing to add at work and will stuff a Mediterranean wrap. Fruit and yoghurt for snacking :D

Dreading Thursday though, it's a business lunch (normally a buffet), which is great in that I am fed for free but will be terrible for the diet. My mates advice was "do like I do and just eat the garnish" no sure my willpower will be that good though
