Morning all!! Hope everyone is well today :)

Just phoned and paid another £46.59 off the mortgage! :)
£30 I earned from Lightspeed and £16.59 from 2 mystery shops!

    Well done! :)

(And hi to the regulars - I'm de-lurking again for the regular quarterly update, ISTR that's due soon...)

@TallGirl - that is one obfuscatory letter. It took me a while to figure out what it was on about.

    Hi All
Just to let you know that I'm now 'Technically' MF.

Well done OverLandLandy Man!! (I always say man at the end to remind me you're a bloke cos your nick looks like it ends in lady when speed read!)

congratulations on securing a permanent job too.

That sounds like it was a great day for you!!:D

I'm hoping to join you in the technically MF' club in a month or two - out overpayment fund is invested in a higher rate fund, so there's no point taking it out early when we're only paying 0.99% interest on the mortgage. Still wondering about moving, doing up this place to a high standard, maybe an extension or just go on lots of wonderful holidays...

Lunasaver - sorry your circumstances mean you're leaving, at least with overpaying you can afford to leave and not be left with a burden of debt and nothing to show for it. Good Luck and Best Wishes in your next quest.

Well done dawnylou and ailuro2. I expect this thread will be a haven of excitement as it's update time! (Off to PM TallGirl)

I'm still awaiting the offer and other legal stuff on my house sale and purchase, so am here for a while longer before I become massively indebted to mortgage and move over to the Take II thread. All possible because of the overpayments so far, and there's another healthy drop this month (some of the savings will be used on legal fees and enormous stamp duty tax).

Keep it up everyone, we're on the finishing straight!
