Mortgage Free in Three Yrs

I've just sent my update to TG. Balance now £19449 so it's coming down, but far too slowly for my liking!
This month is going to be really expensive (mainly because DH killed our car and it's costing about £500 to repair) and due to that and a few other costs I don't think we'll pay off the balance in full by the end of the challenge which is a bit disappointing. But, I had my first performance review at work and I'm doing good so get a payrise, only a small one but every little help in our quest to be mortgage free.
Hope everyone else is doing well and congratulations to all those who have completed the challenge already.0 -
Just PM'd Tallgirl with our latest balance. Currently this stands at £ 28020.
Still on target to reach £ 20000 by the end of the challenge. We are not overpaying at the moment as we are putting a new kitchen in. Hoping to have this done over the next few weekends so we can start attacking the mortgage again.
Looking forward to seeing the new chart, congratulations to all those who have either cleared their mortgage completly or have passed their goal for the MFiT challenge

Just pm'd my balance to TallGirl. Not as good this quarter as I hoped. Still made a few overpayments but got hit by a broken boiler and needing 5 new tyres for our 2 cars all at the same time as going on holiday!
Am also still waiting for a tax rebate that I had allocated against the mortgage so hopefully next quarter will be better.
Well done everyone.MFIT No. 810 -
Redbedhead - sounds like you've coped with a lot of extra expenditure, and still managed, so I think that deserves a big 'well done' - hope the holiday was fab, too!Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0
