I work for Hermes and know my local courier and I've got 10 parcels out for delivery but my couriers only received one today.

ETA that I think Next despatch items from several warehouses and thats why they come in so many parcels and at different times.

Oh I see. Thanks for replying ;)
Do you reckon the other 2 deliveries will still be coming today though?
As the one that was delivered, said the courier had received it after it said "out for delivery". Where as the other 2 awaiting parcels don't mention the courier, it just says "out for delivery".

Really don't want to miss them, but I have to go out later :(

I've just ordered some tall clothes from them as the range isn't in the shops so no early morning wake up call for me on Boxing Day.
Pity they don't let you have the items delivered to store even though it says 9 days to deliver or to a work address.

How can I order something without opening a credit account? I can't take on more credit/ credit searches as I'm waiting to complete on a mortage!

I'm not 100% sure but i think you can pay by debit card? if thats an option for you.
if i had known then what i know now
  • Does anyone know/confirm - I can't place an order online to PICK UP free in store at the moment, can i? (even if i delay it until 2 weeks later for example)

I've got items in my basket but the only option coming up is home delivery. Unless I've missed something?

It says I can pay by a card once my account is open but will still credit search and give me a credit limit which is a big no for me at the moment!

Looks like I'll have to see what over stores have sales on to get my rug :(
  • Morning folks :rotfl::rotfl:

Just back from the boxing day sale at Next and being an avid attendee every year, this is the busiest I have ever ever seen it!.

The store I go to is always busy anyway with a huge q snaking round the shopping centre but this was out of this world this morning with even a barrier with a queue inside the store at the kids section, only letting one in one out. Still a queue outside when I left at 7am - they were only letting 10 in 10 out.

There is either more money about this year or there is less money and people getting wise and saving the pennies they do have for the sales.

Hope everyone managed to get what they wanted anyway - Merry Christmas!!!
On my way to well earned riches (I hope!) :T:T:T
