I buy the morrisons toilet cleaner at 35p and to make it go much further, a trick my cleaner friend told me ,is to transfer it into an old spray bottle and when you use in the toilet you only spray a small amount and not a large squirt.0

I wish people would stop this huge over generalisation. Low fat does not always mean high sugar - sure with some processed foods its the case but skimmed milk isn't full of added sugar, fat free natural greek yoghurt doesn't have more sugar, low fat spreads are bulked with water not sugar. Trimming fat of a steak or not eating the skin of chicken doesn't magically add sugar to it..
Kind of what I meant I don't buy ready meals or cakes etc... I make my own cakes using low fat spread and sweetener. I make all of my meals from scratch. My issue with paying extra for healthy alternatives come from things such as extra lean mince which is now £4 for 500g  I don't buy ready meals or cakes etc... Anyways...to add my 2p to the under 50p topic, my DD loves value fruit loaf which I believe is 27p...she has it in her lunch box and a little goes a long way (fills her up well)0

MrT own label paracetamol, 16 in a pack for 19p I think. I know two packs on the shelf are still cheaper than the pharmacy pack of 32 from behind the chemist counter Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies. It's just over 50p at 53p but I don't recommend the Tesco Everyday Value Coffee, ugh, it's really bitter and gross.0
