Not in Hampshire either. Clearly there's a misconception somewhere out there that everyone in the South is affluent! :(

I thought that but I suspect moneysavingmumofone is right about the higher rents...
Whereabouts in Berkshire are you? Slough has a B&M and Family Bargains. :)

:j:j:j Really?!!! I didn't know that! It's probably about 30 mins but am so desperate to go to one that I will make the effort :D

    thank you

eta - i can't believe it! There is one in reading too so I could go to that one and to home bargains at the same time :D

Sainsbury's Basics Shower Gel. It was 35p when I last bought it and smells nicer than any other shower gel I've had.

Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone who recommended the basics teabags, bought some yesterday and I will nit be going back to any other brand. I Luke a strong cup and still managed to get to mugs out if one bag. Brilliant.

Also I'm not sure if it's already been mentioned but morrisons value stuffing 15p is really nice.

So envious of all these wee bargains, the cost of grocery shopping in Ireland means a bargain would cost twice (at least) for these 'value' items!

Hi Hobbitfancier, I feel your pain, I live in Kildare!
There are some new bargain shops opening up around the country called Dealz (part of the Poundland family)

There's one near me - ok you won't get a lot for under 50 pence/cents but still some good bargains to be found!
Hopefully there will be one opening near you soon - you should have a look at their website (I can't post a link at the moment cos I'm new but you'll find it via Google)

Asda Smartprice Raspberry Sponge Sandwich is slightly over the 50p at 58p but you can get a 6pk of Asda Smartprice Mini raspberry rolls for 40p and a 6pk of Asda Smartprice Apple pies for 50p. :money:

All of these taste fine imho as I know I shouldn't be eating them any way.

I went to Tesco on Saturday and bought a few of the recommendations on here so far I have tried the tea bags and they are fine, much cheaper than the Punjana ones I had been using (£6.99 for 440 was the cheapest I could find when I last bought them). I also went to Lidl and got their hand soap but I haven't tried it yet!

I loved staying there. There was lots of great shops (and a nice gift shop in the lane, quite expensive but the stuff was quite unique. I still have a teddy bear I bought there).
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
