Sainsb. bascis yogurts are brilliant. They are probiotic 4 for 35p you get 2 peach and 2 strawberry. OH likes decent yogurt and he said that the strawberry one is one of the best he`s ever tried.
Meant to add that SB natural yogurt 55p for a big carton is also great, again it`s probiotic and 2% fat so it has a nice creamy taste without too many extra calories.

For thoses who like ground coffee, I used to use SB continental blend but it go too expensive Aldi`s Italian blend is every bit as good but a lot cheaper. Sorry I know this is supposed to be an under 50p thread.

I`m definately going to give the basics teabags a go. Thanks to all who recommended.
  • Another one not under 50p, but far, far cheaper than branded: if you take Cetirizine (eg Zirtek) or Loratadine (eg Clarityn) tablets for allergies (often sold as 'Hayfever' tablets, but in fact used for all sorts of similar allergies), they are available very cheaply unbranded in supermarkets (including Aldi, IIRC under 80p for 14 tablets for Cetirizine).

I definitely wouldn't ever pay a prescription charge for them, which would be even more expensive than the branded variety over the counter.

We are recent converts to Heron Foods, they have some amazing bargains, even in big name brands.

OH loves cup a soups with his sandwich and Heron do the Heinz concentrated liquid sachets which are his favourites. I think they are 59p each everywhere else but 6 for £1 in Heron :)

I buy these to have at work as we don't have a microwave... I can't believe you get them 6 for a £1!!! Lucky you!

We don't have a Heron around here.... In fact i've never heard of it!! Off to g00gle!

If you have a B & M I have recently seen them in there at, if I remember rightly, 19p each.

No B&M either - we don't get the great bargain stores down here in berkshire. We do finally have a Home Bargains about half hour away though which is worth the occasional visit :)
