:wave:Could I join you please? I have some serious lbs to lose (about 30) and am facing a challenge of NOT losing too many £££s!

To explain, we have just bought a house which we need to furnish from top to bottom, as well as all the bills and maintenance costs etc which come with being house owners.

I want to do this as MSE as possible, so I am hoping you will let me join on the basis that every £ I manage to save by shopping around, cashback, deals etc is a £ 'lost' so to speak.

In terms of the lbs to lose, I am using a combination of crosstrainer, weights, the Shred DVD and dog walking to shift my lard. I am not going to diet diet, as the minute I do I want chocolate, but instead follow the paleo principles for eating.

I tried this for a bit last autumn and saw really quick results - both in my weight and also how much better I felt generally. I will do it 6 days a week, so I have one "cheat day" when I can include some non-paleo stuff like cheese and bread. Will not go mad though.....Will also stop serving myself the same sized portions as my 6'4", braod shouldered OH!

You are all doing fabulously - you have inspired me to do this properly. That and I turn 30 in 5 days time.....

    Well done Rachy :)

I am not doing so great moneywise - waiting for payday on 20th and have lots of outgoings in Jan too :( BUT had a brilliant first week at slimming world. Just lost 7lb!!! Absolutely delighted. I know it is mostly water but I'll take it as a fabulous kickstart to my weightloss journey.

Have a cheeky glass of wine as a reward...

  • So sorry to hear your really sad news pm. Thinking of you and sending some virtual hugs to you and your family.

Great losses everyone. :T I'm still hanging my head in shame :o - just cannot seem to get into things foodwise. I did however go to circuit class on Tuesday and have booked aerobics tonight.

    Good luck everyone.
