    Well done Rachy :)

I am not doing so great moneywise - waiting for payday on 20th and have lots of outgoings in Jan too :( BUT had a brilliant first week at slimming world. Just lost 7lb!!! Absolutely delighted. I know it is mostly water but I'll take it as a fabulous kickstart to my weightloss journey.

Have a cheeky glass of wine as a reward...

    7lbs!! That's fantastic! Well done:T

Sorry for being AWOL over the last few days but my father passed away unexpectedly

So sorry to hear about your dad PM . Take care xxxx

Its been a bonkers week at work for me and I don't think I've ever been busier.
As a consequence, I haven't had the time or energy to do any exercise other than dog walking. Will weigh in the morning to see how the lbs are going..... will report back tomorrow.

Been for 2 long dog walks (about 90 mins) and a run today too.

Had a spendy day doing the food shopping but otherwise my purse has stayed firmly shut. Pay day on Tuesday - can't wait!

    Happy Birthday Kalama :bdaycake:

I hope you are having a lovely day!

It was my husband's bday on Thurs and for the first time in my dieting history I enjoyed the day AND didn't go mad!! Even managed to go for meal and stay on plan. Not sure what is different this time - maybe I just want it more? I have my BIG birthday in a month and WAS going to be slim by then but am happy knowing I am in control and doing it ...

Wow reading through there is some fabulous £ shrinkage... :T Well done everyone. I need to get through Jan/Feb and then I'll hopefully be back on track to tackle mine more.

Keep up the good work xxx

Well done. I should get a dog!! ;-) I get paid on Friday and it can't come soon enough. Not because I want to splurge - I just want to make my next payments and update my spread sheet to see the figures coming down. Sad I know. Expensive month too - school trip balance £70, AA £91, Dentist £50, Music Fees £40 on top of all the usual... then next month NO Council Tax! :D:D

    Go Dolly!!

I saw Les Mis advertised at the pics this week (went to see Life of Pi) but don't think Mr Flump is very keen :( Might have to go without him ... Have you seen the show? I've heard so many people rave about both :) Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes peeps. I had a lovely day (even though quite a bit of it was spent writing a uni assignment). We fly back to the UK on Friday, so I've had our families and friends telling me the things they have planned to celebrate when we are back. The exercise clothes will definitely be coming with us!

Huge well done to all on the ££ and lbs lost. Flump - 7lb!!!!!

I did 3km with the dog (she's arthritic and can't do much further at the mo - we will increase!) and then 16.5km on the crosstrainer. Weights tonight as well as a dog walk. I need to see a lb loss on the scales at the end of the week, as I don't think the 0.4 of a lb drop they showed this week counts :rotfl:

OH is taking a firm hand () in my diet and exercise from now on - we are going to come up with a plan and he is going to make sure I stick to it. We're also going to sit and write out a list of all the yummy healthy stuff we make, so that meal planning is easier. He's pointed out that I am pretty determined with other areas of my life, so if I stick to the exercise/diet for a couple of weeks it will become habit and I'll stick properly. I don't really have a choice - my clothes are starting not to fit.

Swapped my utilities through a cashback site, so hopefully that will be savings on the bills plus £32 cashback. Also checked my credit card reward points thingy, and I have £40 worth of Amazon vouchers to redeem. Means my next set of uni course books will basically be free!

    PM - sending hugs xx

HH - I know what you mean about putting it back on, went on the scales this morning and 4lb I lost has gone back on (don't know how) I'm not good at this dieting thingy.
On the £'s front I have £45 for hol payments and hopefully quite a chunk in a few days after selling some largish items on ebay :D
    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38

    Paydbx 2017 - £3588.90/£7000 = 51.27% - number 74

    Paydbx 2016 - £6487.31/£7000 = 92.67% - number 74
