    Evening :)

Well a steady 1.5 off for me :D Shouldn't moan but feel oddly deflated now. I think I work towards fat club night each week and now I have another 7 days ahead of being good, and truth be told... slightly bored. I think I have rewarded myself with food for so long I feel a bit lost. To be fair, I am not hungry... I just want CAKE :rotfl:

Moneywise still not great as had more necessary spends. DD is camping out with scouts on Friday night (and snow is forecast) so had to buy thermals and new fleeces etc. On positive I did list 35 items on ebay last weekend (free listing) and have about 8 items with £3 bids on :D

Hope everyone is doing OK and keeping warm.

    love flump xx

Pay day today :j, so I've made a couple of overpayments to CC1 and CC2 to get them down under £6000 and £5000 respectively. I know in the grand scheme of things they are only very small repayments, and that it would be better to concentrate only on CC1 as it has the highest APR, but psychologically I feel so much better seeing a 5 and a 4 at the beginning of the outstanding debts rather than a 6 and a 5.

So, added to the not very impressive ½lb weight loss at Monday's weigh in, I'm now reporting

    19 Karb - Loss for Jan = 3½lb, total loss = 3½lb, £1's lost = £240
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

  • wow well done on the weight loss rachyroo!!!

Karb I am exactly the same I could concentrate on CC1 & have that paid in no time but I like seeing all of my figures go down - couldnt stand to have 1 stay the same for months!

    Hope everyone else is well

Wow - amazing weightloss Rachyroo - that is fantastic! Well done too Karb on the payments, a big psychological boost. Pay day for me too (although I know this will still be a tight month). I have paid my last outstanding £50 to dentist :)

Have had the most manic week - working late, feeling poorly (just a cold and a strained muscle in my leg/foot) and loads of other stresses.
I haven't lost any weight but I haven't put any on - so not a disaster I suppose. Only dog walking as exercise since last Monday too - must try and do some proper sweaty stuff tomorrow if the cold has cleared up eniugh to let me breath.

On the positive side I've been paid and have paid £10 over the minimum payment on the CC bill, and so far have squirrelled away £140 into savings. I hope to pay more off the CC at the end of the month but I've decided to add a section to the "statement" that we use to track savings too, if nobody minds?

    WelshWoofer - Loss for Jan = 4.5lb, total loss = 4.5lb, £1's lost = £125, Savings £140
  • Hi everyone,
Been to the gym twice this week and also a couple of long doggy walks, so despite acting on the urge to fill my mouth with some naughty stuff I have lost 3llbs. To be honest this has given me some motivation to eat better, my thoughts being if I had the loss would have been huge!

Got a little bit of extra money work wise, and my ebay sales went well although I was shocked at what fees they and paypal take off, no wonder they are a big successful company.

Well done everyone on losses so far - rachyroo that loss is epic!

Pennies from Heaven - weight loss 3llbs £'s lost £600
    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38

    Paydbx 2017 - £3588.90/£7000 = 51.27% - number 74

    Paydbx 2016 - £6487.31/£7000 = 92.67% - number 74
  • Well done on the losses folks. I havent lost but not put on either. Spending time away with work so not too despondent but know I need to get cracking.

Rachyroo a stone in two weeks and not to know how is amazing!

Monday morning weigh in and 5lb lost this week. Really really pleased, as, although Ihad been really good both with eating and getting more exercise for most of the week, I had a bit of a blow out on Friday night when I went to the pub so wasn't expecting it to be quite this much lost
