    Hi all:wave:

I'll be Level One-ing whatever I can manage this week, I think.

My Giant Cane Toad went in the post box when we took Jessie for walkies yesterday afternoon, so that's done and dusted (for now); now I just have to stop myself fretting about the inevitable [STRIKE]grilling session[/STRIKE] interview.

Jessie's been picked up this morning, and I've given Mr Dys0n a very good outing – had to empty him twice during the task as he was completely full; I did two complete passes of the whole bungalow (not moving furniture, I fear, but hopefully there won't be too many Jessie-hairs under the furniture anyway);) and I'm totally cream crackered now!

Looking forward to Daisy arriving next Monday;:T she's a new visitor, all I know about her is that she's very dainty!:D But of course we have Yule before that; because the data centre move at Mr LW's work has been postponed, he will have the day off,:T:T:T and he's requested Quorn fillets in white wine sauce for dins for Yule. I'll do roast roots instead of the usual chips, to make it a bit special.:o

Msgnomey REST your back! Aunty Wolfie has spoken!:naughty: Trust me, you do not want to soldier on with a sore back.

Dancemum your mention of your camera has reminded me – I need to transfer the pics I took of Jessie onto my “Photo Album” flash drive.:o

Bonnie I had a poke about online and found this website with freeware available which may or may not be helpful to you.:o

Be aware, I have not tried this myself, so am not recommending it in any way, just making you aware of its existence.;) I Googled “free hair style programme”. Oh alright, confession time – Googling obscure things that might be of use to others is my displacement activity.:D

I guess I'd better go and do something useful now.....
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Well that was a busy time - Kirstie's Homemade Christmas watched, cards written, OH pressies wrapped, breakdown man came and fixed the van (only a weak battery thankfully), been into town for diesel whilst he had it running to give it a blast out, picked up my boots from the cobblers and a wee nip into A*di for a few bits.

Oh look, Kirstie is on again!!!! Food this time, yum yum. Very hard to watch foodie programmes when I'm on a fast day :(

Time for a cuppa because the last one went cold whilst chatting to the mechanic.

Finally getting to the end of the Mount Washmore, not to get it through the TD before I start my beautifying for the works do tonight.

I'm going to do HH Hoovering and dusting at 1.45 if you want to give me some company?

Afternoon everyone, hope you are all well.

Skint why are you even considering doing Level 1, you should be resting my girl. Get those ankles down.
LW well done in getting that frog eaten :D I'm still waiting for mine to pop it's head above water :)

Well I have spent since 10.30 in the kitchen cleaning up after the builder has finished. Ye gods where does it all come from. I'm also having a major gut of the kitchen - I can't remember buying all the crud in there. When did I buy it all I ask myself. Have made the phone calls that I needed to do and that's those all done now. Now I can concentrate back on the kitchen..ugh!!

Just had lunch and am sitting here till 3pm then back into the Room of Doom :rotfl:

I have to strap my hand up again, the damn thing is killing me. Why don't I listen to DH? I have decided that if it is still not right after Christmas I am going to go up the minor injuries hospital and get them to look at it :D

Anyone fancy joining me at 3pm for two HHC's?

I'll join you Natty. I've been fiddling around getting nowhere here, and if I did two half hours, I reckon that would knock the whole list on the head.

    Hi All

I am in again this week, thanks for the lists Dusty, need to remember take sellotape thing home from work, so much easier wrapping when I use that, I will also be delivering pressies/cards to family we won’t see before Christmas day & a few people have asked me to do them some snowman soup (even though I was not crafting this year lol). I want to be in the ironing challenge, I have no excuse as I finish up on Friday & am not back in this hellhole until Thursday 3rd January!!!! Hope you are all well, I am still not posting much but flying in the background. I will start on list when I get home from paid stuff, DH is nightshift this week, I always seem to get more done when he is not here. :p Love & hugs to all the poorlies or anyone else in need x

Bedroom is a full wrapping zone and plumber has now lifted some of the floor boards in there and the landing so I've had to stop for now.

DS1 home from job one, off to job two
DS2 just got home on early bus
    DS3 due soon

  • Went back to work today after 4 days sick - after 10 minutes in the playground I was advised that a 'delightful' year 5 had referred to me as a 'big, fat, ignorant cow!'

Nice to know I was missed!

I let a colleague deal with it!

Just had a quick snooze - it's barely got light here today, put the second wash load on and am about to hit the ironing....

Stairs and two floors vaccumed, WM x 3 and bedding being tumbled, and handwashing being rinsed and spun in the WM as I type. Ironing isn't really an issue here, but my handwashing is, so I decided to clear it while everyone else is clearing their ironing stashes.

For the last three days I've seen a moth every day, and always in a different room, so I've moved the furniture to vaccuum under it in the sitting room and dining room. Nothing obvious there, but the other two floors will have to have the furniture shuffle as well just to make sure.

I'm taking a 30 minute tea break and then cracking on again because the house now has piles of wet washing in assorted places, furniture scattered around and I've still got three more rooms to Dy$on. Interestingly, it isn't picking up as much crud this time around, so I can only assume it has already got the backlog out of the fibres. Hope so.

  • Hi there - from a very wet and windy North West! It's tippling it down - again. Managed to get neighbour's dogs walked this morning between showers and haven't stopped since then! I've done nearly two hours of ironing, wrapped a couple more presents, written cards to give the neighbours, cleaned the bathroom, generally tidied and just wasted an hour trying to get my laptop to work. It's playing up today for some reason. So much for a 'relaxing' day off work!

I've also spent quite a bit of time with the new cat, who's still a bit shy, and nervous of some rooms still sometimes, but he's much more relaxed now.

I intend to call it a day now - just my lunch dishes to wash - and will watch SCD at 6.30 with a cuppa, read a bit, and play a couple of games on my IPad.

Good vibes and good health wishes to everyone, you take care Lamewolf and Skintbreeder, and relax a bit. Bye for now, R x
