  • Well that HH turned into 1 hour but the kitchen is thanking me profusely for a little bit of TLC.

Just noticed on Ch4 that Kirstie's Homemade Christmas is about to start, so the next HH will be wrapping OH's presents, finishing cards, dusting the lounge, emptying and relaying the fire whilst it's on - oh, and the obligatory cuppa.

    feel free to join me

Just noticed this, having a break from wrapping to give my back a break but I'll start again in 30 minutes on C$+1 I hope.

Really must start writing Christmas cards, I suppose. I felt all noble last week sending two abroad - after the deadline, but hey ho, you can't do everything - and since then the rest have just sat in the In Tray making a nuisance of themselves. Shower to clean and then some carpet attention, followed by a flick or three with a fevver duster.

Thanks for the lists Dusty and Natty for last week.
    Better is good enough.

Just popping in to say "Hi" and apparently I'm required to work on 2nd Jan "booo hissss" - I was hoping to skip through to the 7th since I'd only be in on the Wednesday after new year, but I am needed. So that is that. Still, I will class it as a work from home day, and maybe even negotiate a half day.

I will be wanting to put my decs away as they'll be annoying me by then, although we haven't gone mad with them.

Some extras for this week for me:
Purchase some snack on way home for kiddies nursery party
Get kiddies to write in the cards they made for their ladies
    Get dress up outfits ready
Plan and purchase "stuff" for mil birthday tea party
    Iron my bedroom curtains
Go to b&q, need small length of hose and tap jacket
Do more toy tidying and have a good sort in playroom
Find a home for sewing machine

    Away with the fairies
  • Not. Done. Anything.

Who's up for a HH starting soon? :j

Okay Desk of Doom is as clear as it can be before the laptop is cleared away (which can only happy when I get my desk top back!), I am stopping for lunch and then I might have a go at the horrendous stuff at the side of the sofa :o

Meanwhile soup and listening to Cairn Terrier snores is the order of the day :p

    Afternoon all

Dusted and vacuumed living room, hallway and up the stairs and the kitchen and washed the kitchen floor. Washing draped round because the forecast said rain and it's been sunny all morning (but I bet you if I put it out now it would rain).

Decided that this week I'm leaving my bedding until Friday instead of mid week because I don't want to have to wash it next week and have it draped round while we have visitors. Feels wrong to me. *twitches*
