Mumto5 you deserved a great day after the last couple of week, very pleased for you.
Glad Louis won. Time for bed now, once I've removed all the wrapping stuff from the bed!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Ohh I love the Flylady concept, unfortunately I'm a by of a hoarder and a lazy bee-atch to boot.
I'd love to join you all, if that's ok? A swift boot in the right direction s always good

Is it a dyson? I rang them for a new fan belt last Sunday and it hasn't arrived yet. Useless idiots at dyson, I have flying to do!:mad:Dustykitten wrote: »
All going too smoothly for my liking.
I feel the same. I'm very calm on the outside but subliminally worrying my head off with what I must have forgotten.
The engagement news is now shared on FB. He's bought her a lovley ring (he's got good taste like his dad).0 -
Dining room spotless.
Took long enough.
Rung mum (and sneezed)
got sausages out of the oven for tomorrow's lunch (southern) dinner (northern);) as I CBA to do anything fancier and it will make Tuesday's beano more special
I have also got the tuna out of the freezer that I have been ignoring for months and months - the kitties can tidy that away for me, amd almost at the bottom of the ironing pileDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Aw Mumto5 - that's lovely news.
Been sat highlighting the Radio Times tonight whilst watching Jamie and Gordon's programmes. I'm not normally a fan of Gordon's programmes as he swears too much, but his Christmas one was free of expletives and the food look delish so I've seen him in a whole new light tonight - some cracking films on this year Crimbo too - Will set the record thingy on Sky and have plenty to catch up on on lazy, wet afternoons during Jan and Feb.
Going to pour a glass of the red stuff and read the threads.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j

Morning All
Dog got me up at 5.20 and DS has been coughing all night - he started with a temperature again yesterday too so I hope he's feeling better by tomorrow night. He only had it 2 weeks ago and he was quite ill for 3 days and then he was ok. I've emptied the TD and folded the bedding that was in it, just need to load it again now and reload the WM but don't want to put them both on while everyone's still asleep. I left the sinks in soak last night so they're clean - just need to carry on working my way around the kitchen. DH paired up a load of socks yesterday and hoovered the LR - he was supposed to be sorting the LR out but there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference.
I need to go over to see my grandparents either this morning or tomorrow morning but I've got to wrap their presents first. I'm thinking I'll go this morning as I might be mithered tomorrow if I haven't got as far as I would have liked. I also need to go and do some food shopping so I'm undecided whether to do that today although either way I'll have to fetch some bread.
Oh well I suppose I may as well make a start seeing as I'm up although I could do with going back to bed!
Have a good day all
Hugs

Juliejim, you're not on your own. I've been up a while too. DH had to get up really early for work and I couldn't get back to sleep as its blowing a gale outside. Did have my best nights sleep for about a week though.
I'm like everyone else on here, so organised because of flying that I'm now worrying I've forgotten something. My list for today:
Wash up
Walk dogs
Hoover/sweep/mop through house
Wrap extra present that DH got for DD
There has to be something else!!......
Present wrapped. If I find myself unlucky enough to be in the shops for the sales, I will get wrapping paper for next year. Also on the last of the selotape.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
