Changes to Reward and Ultimate Reward Accounts

I thought I would be able to use my Nationwide Mysave account to create Direct Debits for both of my Reward accounts, but like other have realised I can only nominate 1 account. I know Tesco allows multiple accounts DDs, I wondered if anyone knows if post office does too? As I know they accept DD funding.0

I was about to open a Tesco Internet Saver account to use for setting up DDs from Reward accounts, but noticed that Tesco state:
Direct Debit
If your application is approved, we'll set up an electronic Direct Debit instruction to another account you choose to make it easier for you to make payments to your new Tesco Bank account.
We’ll only use this Direct Debit instruction when you want to make payments from your chosen account.
If you'd prefer not to set up an electronic Direct Debit instruction, or your chosen account needs more than one signature to make payments from it, please contact us to apply for your Tesco Bank account.
I have 3 Reward accounts for which I'd need to set up DD's, does the above mean that the Tesco Internet Saver account would not work for this purpose, as I'm reading the above to mean it'd only be from your chosen account (as in the singular, as they don't say accounts)?

IIRC, that sets up your "primary" linked account, but you can add additional accounts later.0

I have 3 reward accs, 1 is OK as my main acc, the other 2 I set up with Tesco bank last week, (at the same time), and they are both showing as set up on the Tesco and Halifax sites.
Can't remember exactly now, but there is a box to tick to set it up, you get confirmation email pretty quickly.

New terms and conditions will go live from 1 May 2013, to make a clearer distinction between main banking customers and non-main banking customers.
Summary is:
• Reward Current Account customers need to have a minimum of two direct debits set up on their account by 14 April 2013. Any account, regardless of the amount the account is funded with, that doesn't have two direct debits will be converted to a Current Account on 2 May 2013
I was working on the basis that the deadline was 1 May. Thanks for this - not sure where the 14 April date comes from, though. Doesn't seem to be in the Variation Notice.0 -

New Direct Debit mandates typically need anything between 7 and 10 working days before they actually show on the current account they are being paid from. If you set up your DDs by April 14, you can be reasonably sure they will be showing on your Halifax account by the 1st of May.
Seems Halifax will be checking on May 2 whether they can see the 2 DDs on your account, and if they don't, it's the end of your Reward account (and the chance for free fivers).
I haven't left anything to chances and done my DDs already. So I have oodles of time should anything not work as expected first time round.0 -

Charities do (like all organisations) pay a fee for their Direct Debit facilities, so please don't be mean
Not entirely sure how much, but it's probably 50p each time a DD executes.0
