Could someone just clarify for me please? I have 3 sole Reward Accounts, OT has 2 and we have 1 joint. If I set up a DD to LTSB and first direct from one Reward account, can I use the same LTSB and first direct accounts for all of the other Reward accounts?0
-
yes, if you manage to set up these DDs.
As a matter of interest, which Lloyds and FD accounts would you use ? - I'd like to update the list of accounts that can be used for these DDs.0 -
I normally pay in over £1000 each month but I have never used my URCA for DDs and I don't plan to. I have a £200 overdraft and sometimes at the end of the month I am in it.
My account costs £10 a month due to the £1000+ I pay in.Does this mean it will just go back to costing £15 a month?
seems so

I have a firstdirect "1st account" current account and a LTSB Vantage current account. I just assumed they would accept DD's, is this not the case then?
Edit: I'm confused now (doesn't take much these days!). So I can't set up DD's to current accounts, so does it have to be utilities? I've got a total of 6 Reward accounts, and don't want to lose the £360 a year that I make from them. Can someone, please, (very simply for me) explain what the easiest "dummy" payment DD's are that can be made?

There's a thread on the savings board (recently updated so shouldn't take too long to get the 'gist'?) that's worth a read. It's entitled something along the lines of "savings accounts accepting deposits by DD".
Additionally, there are numerous charities that will accept donations by (very small) DD so you can give a little back!0 -

How do people get so many of these accounts :rotfl: :rotfl: is it with the OH.
Also does this mean I can't just set 2 small DDs to my other accounts, even if they're at the same bank.

Another direct debit option, for those that way inclined ...
Conservative Party https://www.edirectdebit.com/conservativeparty/step-1.aspx
Accepts £1 a month to get to next page.
Also RSPCA ....

Can I do 3 DD's from 3 Reward Accounts to the same organisation?
If so, only need to find 2 destinations.0 -

Worked with Lloyds and BoS Vantage, not seen anything in the Halifax T&Cs that says it wouldn't.
Thkx for the links, added them to the list ;-)0 -
loads been mentioned already in this thread.
The time it took you to post that comment you probably could have mentioned a couple again..
I registered a Nationwide MySave Plus Online account after seeing it mentioned in this thread but it seems you can only have one direct debit, I need an account (other than Tesco) which I can do 4 on..
A much clearer list identifying which instant/easy access accounts accept multiple DD's (and how many) would be most helpful.0 -

Hey, what a great idea, why don't you take the initiative and create it? People will appreciate it.
You are very welcome to take the list I have been collating for the last few months as input.0
