Good morning all,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, life is very busy, particularly at work and likely to be so for a bit longer with elections coming up.. Haven't even been able to catch up on the threads either, will try to today, so hugs to all in need.
OS wise, still planting seeds etc like a mad thing so the garden is my main focus, house has been a bit neglected and it shows!! It's tidy but need to wipe down skirting boards etc, will do that tonight after floors have been washed. Also need to clean my oven, I hate cleaning the oven.
Weather is a bit grey and it rained very lightly but nowhere near enough for the garden, dinner tonight will be hm pizza (after I've cleaned the oven) with hm wedges. For lunch today I have "second day lasagne" which is what we call leftover lasagna as it tastes even better second day.
On Friday night DH and I decided to put our house on the market next year. Hopefully the residents parking will be done by then. It's earlier than we had planned to sell but as the houses either side of us are rented now and a third has been sold probably to a landlord too we can't bear to stay here anymore. The tenants on one side at least are dreadful, noisy, thoughtless you name it, we feel a bit driven out of our home actually.
Anyway, have a lovely day all.
Happy Birthday Stefjb!!!!!

Morning all
Happy birthday Stef and Mr CM.
Hugs to all in need today.
It started off sunny here but it's clouding over now, can hear the fog horns going in the harbour too...I don't mind though, all my jobs today are indoor ones.
I've just been through the house and changed beds, dusted and hoovered all through, swished at the bathroom and cleaned the kitchen floor...2 loads of washing are on the line - it's quite breezy so should dry well. Next job, once I've finished my coffee, is to get on with the ironing and remake all the beds.
Got a chicken to cook for tea - might just shove it in the SC and do new pots with it.
Got the gas/electric bill in for the 1/4 today  Need to really drum into DD's to unplug everything before they go to bed, DD1 has a habit of turning her pc monitor off and not the machine  , have upped the DD to try and clear some of the backlog of outstanding bill, I know it should even out over the next few months but I'd like to be straight.
Slept like a log last night (sorry to those who were up at silly hours), had a busy weekend of gardening, got the suntan to prove it too
(apart from my legs - why do they never go brown?)
Anyway - must crack on! Have a great day all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Well hello there, glad to see you're all still here

I have been AWOL for a few weeks as when I got back from Barcelona (it was fabulous, but rainy) I decided I really needed to knuckle down and concentrate on my dissertation... so that's what I did. I handed it in this morning and it was such a relief... I just have one exam at the end of May and then I'm done! I know a few of you are still working on essays and things so I'll not rub it in too much, but it is such a fantastic feeling!!!
Also I handed in my notice at work - they're putting far too much pressure on me, and anyway, they can't offer me the hours I'm going to need when I finish uni. So my last day there will be 26th May, and the search is now on for a "proper" job :rotfl:
BUT, I have done no housework whatsoever these last few weeks (as in literally just the bare minimum required in order not to catch some hideous disease
) and the menu plan has gone to pot and we've eaten nothing but junk. However today is the start of a new week and I am getting firmly back on the wagon!!
So my To Do List:- Empty WM and Reload (repeating several times!)
- Clean Kitchen (worksurfaces cleaned down and table cleared of junk)
- Clean Living Room (dust and tidy)
- Wash sofa covers
- Clean Bathroom (you don't even wanna know!!)
- Clean Bedrooms (fairly tidy, just need a straighten and dust)
- Tackle Huge pile of paperwork
- Storecupboard, fridge and freezer inventory
- Menu Plan the next few weeks
- RELAX AND ENJOY MY FREEDOM!!!
I guess a lot has gone on these last few weeks, so in order not to upset anyone I will just give:
::hello: To newbies
 :j Congratulations to anybody who's had good news
:bdaycake: To all who have celebrated
:grouphug: Big hugs to anyone who has needed one
Glad to be back!!!!!!! Roz xxxx0 -
Hello everyone
sorry havent posted on here again for a few days, anyone remember last week sometime i sent a message regarding a company that took my money out the bank without my say so, we got a letter today sending their apologies for any inconvenience casued!!! Really sorry but this time sorry itsnt good enough, they left me with less than £12 in the bank i had to pay the rent and get food shopping bit to last till weds. because they took that money out i was left over drawn and a DD sent back so no doubt I'll be charged an admin fee for that, and that was a debt that was returned I'm worried now because it was sent back they will take me to court
as I missed a payment. The lady i psoke to wasnt very nice to me that day either so will write a letter to them. Can I pick anyones brains on the? what to write?:o
Anyway I have made some soup its in the s/c and have bread on now so nice soup and bread for tea today not sure how happy the babys will be though lol, cleaned up need to sweep the kitchen floor but waited for DD to finished her lunch. I'm on the fresh air diet at the moment I'm not very well today I was ill last night ggrrr, I think I'm suffering from whats called eye-us-as-big-us-belly-us lol. My ds2 is a bit unwell to bit of a cold i sent him nursery this morning see how he goes, but chicken pox is going around at the moment so I wonder if its that?
anyway enough of my ramberling
Queenpig. xGrocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0
