I also get excited at the thought of a new domestic tool. (Minds out of the gutter please people!)
I remember when I was young I was bought a furry worm toy....for ages I had watched the video in store and it showed this orange worm crawling all over the kids and being very cute and fun.
When I opened the packet it was in fact a bit of orange fluff with some near-invisible wire which you had to use to pull it along :-( it was great to give the illusion to others but I wanted the illusion to be real.0 -
I get excited when it is not raining and I can put my washing out on the line to dry ... I think I hate my life:rotfl:0

So do I !!!!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Thank you all. You never fail to make me smile.

LostInRates, I got it in the Vax sale which finished on Sunday. However, I have noticed the vacuum on eBay for about the same amount.
I'm already disappointed with Vax - it said a 5-7 day delivery time. It's now Thursday, I rang them up, and they haven't even dispatched it yet!
My Dyson Animal is the one that blew up. I did like it, but the place definitely needs something to scrub it. I was mulling over whether to get a steam mop to supplement it. So when it blew up, and I had to get a new machine anyhow, it made sense to try out one that sucked and scrubbed!0 -
I got similar exciting feeling in the summer when purchasing Karcher window cleaner... And that is magical. It sucks all the water off the window clean, so no need to shine it up!
My OH was just shaking his head... He said I am not that excited when he takes his pants down.. I said if he takes them down to clean the windows himself I might let a little wee out with excitement like little excited puppies do...0
