Thought I would just pop online whilst waiting for MrT to arrive with our shopping. I meal planned and bought according to meal plan - when looking back at shopping list I realised I've not bought any veg so need to make sure we put more veg into meals in future.

As a result, I've signed up with Riverford to have a veg box delivered each week. Does anyone else use them? I've found other companies that do the same so will see how this first box goes. It will add £16.95 into our weekly shop but I will plan my meals around it and I'm sure the other bits we buy will come in at £40 so should still be in our weekly budget. I'm also adamant that every last bit of vegetable will be used - even if that means having savoury mince on Wednesday night so all bits can be used. I'm quite excited about the first box coming :-)

I've been using them for years and can highly recommend. Good value and fantastic service. Love the little letter you get from Guy as well with news about the farm.

£7.79 spent in asda on binbags, febreeze, beans, bread, milk, firelighters a tin opener and then reduced yogurts at 10p for 6 so i got 12, reduced bananas to 10p a bag, 2 pots of reduced pineapple and other veg and a 10p pot of double cream.

I set a mini budget of £20 this week and spent £14.09 which i'm happy with since i won't need binbags, freebreeze, firelighters or a tin opener for along time.

It does work i just stopped going -free online subscription to ww via a cashback site

When the freebie runs out try MyFitnessPal. It gives you the same as WW with the online food diary but is completely free. Just started using it as didnt want to pay WW prices and its really working. Especially if like me you know all the tips/advice that WW give you and just need something to help track.

And by the way i think DPJames was incredibly rude as you have no idea why she needs to lose weight or why she may have too much weight, could be through medication or illness not necessarily due to overeating!!!!

Angelatgraceland You really are so inspiring with how you are getting on with life dispite your recent loss. Well done :T

Missmucksmum So sorry to hear how tough things are for you, hope you find the strength to rise above it all :)

WW does work, speaking as a goal member who had to try more than once, you just need to be in the right head space regardless of whether you are following a plan or just eating less. You obviously have no idea.

    £33.30 in Mr A

My money is quickly dwindling. Hate going shopping with OH he just chucks any old thing in the trolley. I'm so going to go back to online shopping I think. We haven't even really needed much this month. I've not meal planned or anyone I'm not great at that side of it I like picking what I want just before making it but I know that can be costly

  • Am I allowed to return after falling by the wayside last year please? icon11.gif Full of renewed determination.

Please put me down for £500 for Jan.
(Could only see 2 other members aiming for this amount, I know it's not a competition but I do feel bad, know I'll struggle if I aim for less than that initially though).

    Thanks
