Morning all - I popped to MrM this morning after dropping DS3 at school - stuck to my list pretty much and only bought fruit, bread and ham - a bit annoyed now though as I got home and looked at my receipt - either I didn't look properly or someone had put the apples back in the wrong place and I assumed they were £1 for the bag but they scanned at £1.70 (didn't realise at the time) - I would NEVER spend that much on apples if they were on offer for £1 but it really wouldn't have been worth going back and returning them so 70p more than expected :-(
On a brighter note DH & I started drinking black coffee instead of white last week (DH realised drinking black coffee would give him extra points to use on WW!). I never realised how much milk we got through drinking coffee all day but think it must have saved us at least £3 last week!May GC 433.32/ 350  Apr GC 263.43 /300

Hi all, hope everybody had a good weekend.
The thread's very long this month so I've just been reading posts sporadically, it helps to keep me motivated though!
Pleased to report I have done NO grocery shopping for the past week- bought everything I needed last Sunday. I will be picking up some veg later today and I will also need some milk, eggs and fruit at some point this week. I will also be keeping an eye out for some YS meat. I am struggling a bit this week though- I had a fall and hurt my knee so I am hobbling around, add to that the snow on the ground- I am going to take it easy with regards going around different supermarkets.
Planned veg spends for today: potato, onion, carrot, mushrooms, maybe some cucumber.
I have 2 portions of pasta sauce left and still some meat in the freezer- I'm thinking of doing a few portions of bolognese tomorrow.
Lunch today is leftover homemade soup from the veg that needed using up with some of my sourdough bread.
Have a good Monday everyone :wave:Nov Groceries: approx £90

12th Visit to the local shop for bread and soup for lunch, was raining and freezing so didn't want to pop in to town. DH went out in the late afternoon and picked up 2 broccoli on offer £1.50 for dinner.
Today visit to Sainsbob for fruit and veg £7.65.
Will update sig in a bit.
