Quietly sneaking back in, I took easter off and then found that I couldn't be bothered last week and ended up doing nothing so I have three weeks of mess and feel determined to get back on track this week.

Hope all well, I haven't even been signing in to see what has been going on so hope all well.

Lil_me like the new format, especially for me dipping my toe back in I will aim for level two tomorrow, so the list looks like -

    [STRIKE]dailies[/STRIKE]
    Lil_me
Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required[/STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) (did today:D )
[STRIKE]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Clean microwave will manage this[/STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week will try for this one
    Declutter mission task
27 fling boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter!no chance too much lying around

Will also aim to get back with meal plans and do a fortnights shop.
How easy it is to stop flying!!!

So far so good, just grabbing a cuppa at the mo, WM is one for the second time but looking at the clouds its going to go in the TD. Once WM is finished I will clean out the washer drawer and give the whole machine a wash through on a high wash.
Off to finish the shopping list and then will collect DD2 and go to the shops.

Rach - the ring is lovely!!!

Im halfway through the bathroom, and was going to do the kitchen floor, but think id better wipe the worktops down first. Ive sprayed my oven with stardrops, and will finish it off later (much easier to let the stardrops do all the hard work!!!).
Better go and do something, said i wasnt going to stay on MSE this morning, but keep getting drawn back!!!!

  • Good morning to everyone and especially all the newbies and those returning. :hello:

Everyone has been so busy, took me a while to read all today's messages.

Rach- huge congrats to you and your partner on your engagement, wonderful news, have fun sharing it with everyone. :j

It's just started to rain here, glad I went and out the compost out whilst I was waiting for the kettle to boil for my cuppa.

Have taken a bag of unwanted bits and bobs to the charity shop this morning after taking DS to school and had my hair cut.
I did the utility room last night, so it's the kitchen and dining room for me when I get cracking shortly.

Need to look at changing credit card over. Slowly paying it off and our current 0% one ends next month so need to get a new good deal applied for.
If there is time before collecting DS I would like to try on some clothes to help me decide what to take on our hols next month, want to take as little as possible. Did a quick trawl of DS's wardrobe yesterday and made a note of the couple of items I need to buy for him.

    Take care all.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

I just managed to find the thread. Couldn't find it last night or this morning. Can you help me on that one anyone?

So haven't started yet but DS3 did clean kitchen floor for me yesterday. YEAH!! About to start level 2 and have friend of DS3 coming to help me today to do some heavy work. Hoping to get some digging done in back garden and get some seeds sown for veggies.

Morning everyone, wow more new members, I am thrilled you have all decided to join us, I hope you find it helpful. Welcome back to the regulars, Punky never fear we all fall off several wagons, just got to hold on a little tighter this time, road can be a little bumpy.

Rach, congratulations, to you both, the ring is amazing aswell. Beautiful.

Right, today I've done level 1& 2, unfortunately benches are cluttered back up again after cleaning them with me moving stuff around, but will clear them again this evening, so I'm going to have a bash at level 3 which will hopefully stop me looking out the window every 2 minutes waiting for my new fridge freezer to arrive, it's like Christmas as I have wanted one for ages :o

So the rest of today goes a little something like this

    Level 3 (hopefully)
Empty old fridge at 2pm read for freecycle collector, wipe out too
Swap the stuff from fridge when it FINALLY arrives (gosh I m impatient)
Swap freezer stuff over, list as I go and do meal plan
One load laundry (weathers pants so going on airers)
Cloth wash (also my hot wash to keep it running right)
Clean kitchen doors after putting them back on
    Post Ebay stuff
Check email, 10 mins paperwork sorting
Prepare paperwork for committee meeting tonight
    Rest of dailies

    Think that'll do
One day I might be more organised...........
