Rach many many congratulations! How lovely! Beautiful ring and even more beautiful couple. I wish you much love and happiness as you plan your big day and more importantly married life together.

Not having the best day. Have been swimming. DS swam on his own in his lesson today so I swam for half an hour - ABSOLUTELY KNACKERED!! Came home, threw up and went to lie down for a few hours while DS plopped in front of CBeebies :o

Have just made him lunch them off to pre-school so I should have a few hours to at least get the kitchen floor done!

Most of you seem to be having a stonking day - well done :T

Michelle.. if you were wicked in a former life.. what the heck must I have been???

Lil_me.. you're just cheeky to me!.. so I am being mature and sticking my tongue out at you!! :p:p:p:p You have no idea just how bad my moaning can get!!!

Rach.. congratulations sweetie.. and that ring is beautiful.. you do realise though he will probably want to live with you once you are wed!! lol

I have done stuff all this morning.. I did S&S the kitchen last night though to make it easy on myself today.. but it is grey and overcast and cold so I just cannot motivate myself.. any kicks going begging??

I have checked the bank accounts, paid a couple of bills and transferred some money to the joint account to cover a few cheques I have written.

I am still waiting for hubby to transfer the files and data off the old pc onto the new one before I can update my sig. strip and balances.. though I fear that things aren't too good this month.. I've spent a fair amount on stuff for the children (£200 on shoes for a start!!) so very little has been paid since.

Best go do myself a fling!

    Love to all

Change of plans for today. OH sent me a MSN message saying we need to talk about money tonight. When I asked why it would appear that the IR are at it again  He's been charged over £300 income tax which means even with his small pay increase (whoopie a whole £70 a year by the looks of it  ) he's been paid nearly £100 LESS this month  I now need to sit down and sort out the bank accounts and make sure I have covered ALL his wages (he was a casual worker at one point for a company so random wage deposits  ) and then send him the file with all the info in so he can talk it out with the IR tonight when he gets in...apparently he needs me to be there  I have a feeling there could be the immortal words of "My partner understands this better so she has permission to talk it through and explain to you" again  It happened last time he needed something financial sorting out. So it will be a deep breath and get ready for a mind wrecking time on the phone. He better give me a whiskey & coke without complaining if I do end up talking to them :D:rotfl:

At least I got the place straight again after the weekend before he told me. Off to carry on with finances..everything else can wait

Rach big congratulations from me. You look a lovely couple and very happy. the ring reminds me of my sisters so i can fully imagine how pretty it is in real life. Will it be a quick engagement? Once the ring was on my finger, i had him down the aisle in 10 months. didn't want to give him chance to change his mind. :rotfl: I love hearing about weddings and babies.

catznine hope your friend is ok after the op

    traceyg hugs for the funeral.

dunno - but i take your point. You must have been 8x more wicked, although i reckon if i count the cats as being as much trouble as 1 child, then perhaps only 4x more wicked. ;) Hope someone gave you a big KICK!!!! to get you going.

Right, i am going to get this cuppa before it goes cold, and i am going to get some more things listed on amazon.

    See you all later.

Right, a quick check in for me (helps encourage me to keep going!!!)

Ive made the beds, cleaned the bathroom and toilet up stairs. Wiped all the kitchen down, including the worktops, units, table, WM, DW and microwave. Oven cleaned inside and out.

Still to do - wipe down fridge, clean the hob and kitchen floor and clean downstairs loo. Will do the fridge now, but the other bits will be done after dinner (will only get messy again if i do it now) Will also hoover through, make tomorrows packed lunches and put the DW on with the dinner dishes, and hopefully i will empty it as well, if i get it done early enough.

Gosh, i thought i had done loads, but still loads to do!!!! Never mind, the more i do today, the less i will need to do tomorrow (im out all morning, so will have all my work to do in the evening).
