Hi all , I am new to this thread but it's a real motivator! Can anyone explain how I list the tasks in my reply and then put a line through them?

First, take lil_me's list and copy and paste it into a post. When you've finished a task, edit your post and go to 'Go advanced'. There's a button at the top which is an [STRIKE]S[/STRIKE]. Select the task you'd like to cross out and press this button. It'll come up with STRIKE either side of it.

Good luck with your tasks and welcome to the thread! :j

Sorry, I've just re-read that and don't think it makes any sense. Hope it does to you.

Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces - done but with black worktops I find myself wiping them about fifteen times a day!

I find that too Tartan Mum, why I ever went for black worktops I have no idea.

    Rach - congratulations :)

Did a good chunk this morning before work, but still not the floor ! Looks like I'm doing a pigpen and working down to level 1

    Morning All Flyers!
Hope you all had a good weekend.
I finally managed to get the cupboard under the stairs done, yeh!!
But week not started out great as the cars broken down so I've been quickly cancelling my appointments and re jigging the day so I can spend it at home rather than on the road.
Not to worry though at least I can try to fit in todays tasks over the day.

Love the new list format lil_me. I'm going for a level two-ish type of day.

    Level One
Clean floors (will do before bed time so I'm not walking all over them all day)
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)[/STRIKE]
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front (not much left in it as pay day not till Wednesday)
    Level Three
    Clean microwave
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
[STRIKE]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky [/STRIKE] Did last week
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week (only the grill pan to do, rest still very clean)
    Declutter mission task
27 fling boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter! (Could be difficult as not much clutter left, will clean out a couple of draws in the kitchen instead)
Perhaps go and do a bit of work now.
Oh torianut the strik though is easy just 'go advanced' when adding a post, highlight (right click hold on mouse and drag black mark) and click on the top button [STRIKE]S[/STRIKE] .
    Catch you all later

Now to get to my list (after getting dressed and putting away last nights washing i just dumped on the floor - 2 birds one stone while im up there!)

Aw pants. I just popped on while I'm having a cuppa and DS is sleeping to get a chilli recipe (it's my first time attempting it. I'm so not a fan but DH loves the stuff so it's a surprise for him).
Read aimee's post and it's reminded me that I did the same as I went to bed last night. There's a clean washing pile in the corner of my room. It's not even folded or anything.

Ah well, it can wait. Nothing disrupts a good Tetley cuppa....

    Yay CONGRATS Rach! :j:beer:

Right, now I've had a double breakfast & on my second cup of coffee (with sugar this time :o ) so I'm feeling a bit more energetic I think I might be able to kick my brain into gear enough to write a list of what I need to do today.

I've caught up here (one of my top priorities every weekday and if I get a chance at the weekend ;) ) and want to say "Big hugs to all especially those having a rough time and little ones/pets who are ill"

Well now everyone is out the house I can actually see that apart from straightening the kitchen, putting spare bedding away and putting DD's toys away properly (they're all falling out from under the bed :rotfl: ) there isn't actually that much to do :D Sooo.... I'm going to aim for Level 3 on Lil_me's list and add in the tidying up but I'm not cleaning any rooms today unless they're on the list...I'm not even going to do any laundry as it's showery here and I want to get rid of the ironing pile before I have to start adding to it. Fortunately OH did a huge pile of tops & flat things (teatowels, napkins etc) yesterday while I was out with DD so I only have trousers, "awkward" tops, school skirts and the masterbedding to do (I decided it was time we started having the luxury of ironed bedding ;)). So my list for today looks like this :

    Dailies
    • Beds
    • Bathroom S&S
    • Dishes x 2
    • [strike]Exercises[/strike] - just going to do tummy pull-ins as my shoulder is aching today ;)
    • [strike]Packed Lunches[/strike] - made up 5 this morning (didn't have the energy last night) and they're now in the fridge :D:T
    • Evening Meal
    • Tomorrows clothing etc out.
    Lil_me list
    • Level One
      • Clean floors
    • Level Two
      • Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
      • Wipe window sill, clean any marks off window if required
      • [strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike] Dining room is part of livingroom so this gets done then.
      • Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
      • Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    • Level Three
      • [STRIKE]Clean microwave[/STRIKE] Not used since the last time it was cleaned :D
      • Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
      • [strike]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky[/strike] - only done on Friday.
      • Clean oven
    • Declutter mission task
      • 27 fling boogie, grab a bag and clear that clutter!
    Extras
    • Update Money file
    • Spare bedding away
    • Stuff back in Airing cupboard (cleared it out so I could dry underwear in there over the weekend due to the amount of laundry!)
    • Tidy DD's toys back under her bed properly
    • Clear desk (27 fling boogie I think)
    • ironing
    • 3 ebay items to type up
    • find & "do" ebay item to dispatch
    • Co-op for more margarine
If I manage to get the these done I will be happy. Money & ebay items are not urgent (I know I have no money to spend:o ) so I just need to get the rest done. Now my coffee has finished I'm off to tackle a batch of dishes. Then I'm off upstairs to tackle the bedrooms  Will come back on about lunchtime to update. Bye for now

That is beautiful!!! You both have very good taste :)

I forgot to add that when I washed the kitchen floor tonight I also did the entry way, ensuite, laundry, bathroom and toilet floors too!! Wonders will never cease!
